Stefan had me and Elena call over so that Ric could help us shed some light on the lockwood family. Cause apparently they're supernatural but not vampires. Yeah great cause we so didn't have other problems. Right...
"Thanks for coming over Ric can I get you something. Bourbon? Coffee? Bourbon in your coffee?" Damon asks Ric. To be honest I don't know how I feel about Damon. On one side I'm angry with him beyond imagination but on the other I see those blue eyes and that smirk he has all the time and I forget that anything ever happened.
"Yeah well Elena called saying she needs help?" Ric retorts and sits down on the couch.
"We were hoping that you could shed some light on the Lockwood family?" Stefan asks the history teacher.
"Now why I know anything about Lockwood's?" He asks back.
"You wouldn't but your dead not dead vampire wife might?" Damon says.
"Her research when you two were at Duke together"
"You said Isobel researched this town" Stefan states.
"Isobel's research of the town rooted it in folklore. At time I thought it was a myth" Ric tells us.
"Like that amazing vampire story" Damon says to him.
"Other than vampires what else?" I ask him.
"Lycanthrope" he answers simply.
"Like werewolfs?" I ask again.
"No, impossible way too Lon Chaney" Damon says back. If there are vampires why the hell not werewolfs right. I used to say in highschool until you prove me otherwise I'll believe in it.
"Is it?" Stefan asks.
"I've been on this planet for 160 some years if werewolfs exist where the hell are they"Questions confusingly Damon.
"Why do you suspect the Lockwood's?" Ric asks us back.
"Because the vervain didn't effect the mayor but the gilbert device did. Also it affected Rose too it has to have a wider spectrum on who does it affect" Damon explains it to Ric. Yeah not the night I want to remember. "And his son Tyler"
"And their Uncle exhibited inhumane strength when he fought one of the carnival workers" Stefan says.
"So they're some sort of supernatural entity"
"We were hoping Isobel's research !ight have something" I say to Ric.
"All of her things are at Duke in her office. Technically she's still missing" Ric says with sarcasm.
"Well can we get access?"Damon asks him.
"Ric if this wolf man thing is true then I've seen enough movies to know that it's not good. It means that he's Lon Chaney and that little punk of his maybe Lon Chaney Jr which means Bella Lugosi meaning me is totally screwed" Damon tells us.
For some unexplainable reason I'm going to Duke with Damon and Ric. Elena said that she and Stefan are going to help Caroline with her transition so I'm on Damon duty. We get out and Elena hugs me tightly.
"Come back safely" she tells me.
"I will but he might not" I whisper to her but I'm sure both of the vampires heard because I heard the younger one chuckle.
"Hey you okay back there. You know this whole pretending to hate me thing is getting a little old" Damon says and leans back.
"I don't think she's pretending you did kill her brother"Alaric tells us.
