Rose's Pov
Elena, Caroline and Bonnie are in front of the school. Elena has a scarf around her neck. I want to surprise them. So far I asked Damon not to tell them that I'm back. He looked at me and smirked knowing exactly what I meant.
"Here we are. Senior year" Caroline says and I watch them from behind the tree.
"Anyone else think it should feel slightly more empowering?" Bonnie asks and I have stop myself from chuckling.
"Okay. So prank night was a bust. But we are accepting it, and we are moving on" Ohh Caroline always the optimist.
"You're right. I mean, why should I let the fact that my boyfriend is seeing the ghost of his dead girlfriends hinder this experience?" Bonnie asks sarcastically.
"Yes! And why should I let the fact that my boyfriend was turned into a hybrid put a damper on an otherwise fabulous day" Caroline ads.
"Today's our anniversary. Technically, Stefan and I met on the first day of school last year" Elena sigh's sadly. I wish I could do something.
"Yeah. You win" Caroline concludes.
"Are you sure you want to be here?" Bonnie asks. "I'm sure Ric can excuse you from class and I'm pretty sure Rose wouldn't mind your company" Bonnie tells my sister. Well thanks Bon.
"I have to be here. I have to put it behind me. New year. New life. Also I'm pretty sure Damon's keeping her company" Elena says and winks at the two girls. Now it's time to make my entrance.
"First of all eww gross, Lena and second of all....... we'll there's no second" I say and they turn around and I'm met with Caroline's bear hugs. I hug her back but I think she has to control her strength now. Next up is Elena who's eyes tear up a bit so I wipe it away and she smiles at me and I smile back at her. My sister. My twin. And then Bonnie. Ohh Bonnie how I missed her.
"I can't believe you're back"Caroline says and then a she realizes. "Does that mean that awakening worked?"She asks me.
"Yeah, I don't really remember much of it but there was women and she was saying that I need to go with her somewhere but I didn't wanna leave you guys so I kind snapped back into reality and all my memories came back" I say and my sister hugs me one more time.
"Also Caroline I do remember how you tried to feed with a baby bottle" I say jokingly and the girls laugh while Caroline pouts.
"Damon told me I was babysitting, I didn't know it would be Rose" Caroline defends herself and we all walk into the school laughing.

I'm standing by my locker and I hear faint buzzing in my back. I take out my phone to see Damon's name on it.
"Hey. Are you checking up on me? Because I'm fine, and back to normal no more telepathy" I tell him.
"Yeah. So...You might want to come back to your old room in your house with Elena. We have a new housemate. Barbie Klaus, and I don't trust her for a second" Damon tells me, is that the blond from the gym. I think Rebekah was her name.
"You do know that technically she's my aunt right?" I ask him and I can hear him sign over the phone.
"Yes, sadly thanks to Klaus you've got the whole package"Damon jokes while maintaining a half serious tone.
"And why is she living with you now? Why?" I ask him while holding my phone with my between my ear and shoulder as I take my books out of the locker.
"She's stranded. Apparently Klaus left her in the dust after I name-dropped Mikael"
