Overwatch: A Diffrent Timeline

Chapter 11- Home

A couple of days later things started to turn back to normal in the secret Overwatch and Talon base. All the agents were fine. Some were still in other countries,but were on their way back so they could discuss what to do next. A lots of cities around the whole world were destroyed. Luckily many already started with the repairs and once everyone was gathered, the Overwatch- and Talon agents could send help as well.
,,Trace... Actually... Is it ok  if I call you that?" Tracer asked her doppelganger. They were on their way to Winston's lab, where he, the two Angelas, Reaper, Soldier 76, Sombra, Moira and Widow were already waiting.
,,Sure, why not."
,,Ok. Thanks", Tracer said.
,,We should be thanking you guys. You saved us. By the way, Sombra found no more NullSecotr life signs after the virus was activated. That means there is nothing to worry about anymore."
Tracer smiled ,,That's good news... I hope Talon and Overwatch will work together in our timeline at some point too."
,,Who knows? Jack and Gabriel managed to become friends here. That makes it not impossible."
The two stepped into the lab, where Winston greeted them happily.
,,Are you two ready to go home?"
Mercy and Tracer both nodded.
,,I hope we will see each other again in the future. I really love some of the equipment you two showed me", Angela said. Her Doppelganger and Moira smiled.
Winston stepped forward and gave the doctor a blueprint.
,,Take this and give it your Winston. I created a device, which can be connected to Tracer's accelerator. It will let you travel back to your dimension once. However with this blueprint your Winston will be able to recreate it. This way we can see each other again."
,,Thank you Winston."
,,We have to thank you.", Gabriel said, ,,Without your help we woudn't have managed to defeat NullSector. You are always welcome to visit us or turn to us whenever you need help."
,,So are you.", Angela said.
They said their goodbyes, then Tracer looked at Mercy.
,,Ready?"
,,Yes."
Winston attached a little device to Lena's accelerator. Then the speedster  took Angelas hand and initiated her recall. The world around them slowly started to become blue and then disappeared.

When the world reappeared the two women no longer stood in Winston's lab but in front of the warehouse they investigated just before their little travel.
,,I think we are back.", Angela said hapilly, ,,I hope we didn't miss anything."
Suddenly Winston ran out of the warehouse.
,,Tracer, Mercy are you alright? I heard an explosion what happened."
Tracer smiled.
,,Don't worry Winston we're okay, but you won't believe what happened. It's kinda a long story, but I think Angrla and I just found a good reason for the government to abolish the Petras Act."
The scientist was confused but happy at the same time. Whatever it was his friends were going to tell him, he was sure it was the key to bring back Overwatch
,,Alright. Let's go home so you can tell me about it.", he answered.
Mercy and Tracee agreed.

 
It took them a couple of hours to return to Gibraltar and tell Wisnton everything. At first he couldn't believe them, but then he saw the blueprints. They were incredible and very advanced.
The next day Winston wrote a report to the government. He hoped they would believe him.

A couple of weeks later he got a letter. Nervously he opened it.
,,What do you think Athena? Did they believe us?"
,,I don't know Winston. You explained everything very well.. At least as far as I know. I really hope Overwatch will come back. The world needs us."
Winston nodded and read the letter quietly. Once he finished he smiled and looked at the monitor with Athena's symbol on it.
,,Call the others. A new era of Overwatch has begun."
