Paper rings ~ Dodge Mason

The derby.

"Mom! I need to go see if Heather is ok!" Paige shouted.
"Paige you could've died, you can't go!" Taylor shouted.
"I have to!" Paige yelled before running out of the house.
"Nat!" Paige called as she ran around the hospital.
"Paige!" Nat said. The two hugged.
"She's in here." Natalie said, opening the door to reveal Bishop and Heather.
"Heather!" Paige said as she saw that Heather was alive.
Paige hugged her then Natalie did.
"We were so worried." Natalie said.
"God, i...i couldn't even think." Natalie said, with a tear in her eye.
"I...you helped me get out. I couldn't..." Natalie said.
"it's okay, it's okay." Heather smiled at the two worried girls.
"I'm sorry, Heather." Paige said with tears in her eyes as well.
"You saved me." Natalie said.
"Hey, Hey, it's ok." Heather smiled lightly.
"I'm gonna go see Dodge." Paige said.
"Ok." Heather nodded lightly.
As Paige walked into Dodge's room she saw a officer Langley and a nurse.
"Oh- sorry. i- i can come back." Paige said.
"No, Paige. I think we're done here." Officer Langley said.
"Oh, ok." Paige nodded.
"Say hi to your mother for me, Paige." Officer Langley said.
"for sure. She's always happy to hear from you." Paige smiled.
"Ok." Officer Langley smiled.
"Ma'am, can i see you outside for a minute." Officer Langley said to the nurse.
"Sorry, Mrs. Mason. I'll leave." Paige smiled.
"Your Paige, right?" Dodge's mom asked.
"Oh yeah." Paige said.
"Thank you." She hugged Paige.
"I'm sorry, I don't understand." Paige chuckled.
"You saved Dodge." She said.
"How? I just screamed and made sure he was still breathing." Paige said.
"You got help which means you saved him." She said.
"Ok uh i'll talk to you later, Dodge." Paige waved and walked away.

"This was a bad idea." Dodge's mom said.
"Can you sit down? your kind of making me dizzy." Dodge said.
"You getting hurt too was not part of the plain, i think we should call this off." She said.
"I already told you, the fire had nothing to do with the game." Dodge said.
"You wouldn't have been there in the first-"
Dodge's mom stopped after the nurse walked in.
"of all the stupid places to throw a party." She tried covering it up.
"I know." The nurse said.
Paige over heard the conversation and left the hospital.
"What plan?" She asked herself.
"Paige! Is Heather ok?" Grey asked.
"Yeah, shes fine." Paige smiled.
"What about Dodge?" Crew asked.
"He's fine too." She assured them.
"I'm glad their ok. Your lucky your still alive, missy." Taylor walked into the room.
"What a miracle!" Paige said.
"This is serious, Paige. Your coming home smelling like beer and now you risk your life at some party! this isn't you." Taylor said.
"Mom, i'm fine." Paige said.
"Paige, are you competing in that Panic game?" Taylor asked.
"No! are you serious? i'm not stupid like that, mom." Paige said.
"Your just like your father." Taylor sighed.
"Excuse me?" Paige scoffed.
"Come in, you look like him, and now your acting like him! Your father died playing that game i'm gonna let you die too!" Taylor said.
"Your evil." Paige said, storming off into her room and slamming the door.
"Is it true that he died like that?" Crew asked.
"Why don't you guys go to your rooms?" Taylor sighed.
Crew and Grey quietly walked to their room and closed the door, leaving Taylor in the living room, crying.

"Paige? it's been days, come on." Taylor knocked on the door.
"Go away!" Paige shouted.
"someones here to see you!" She said.
"Well i don't wanna see them. Just leave me alone, mom." Paige said.
"Please Paige, i need your help." Taylor said.
Paige opened the door and saw Taylor standing there.
"I'm mad at you." Paige said,  walking past her.

Paige walked down the street with Grey. Paige was taking him to the library to get him a new book.
"Come on, Grey!" Paige said as they walked into the library.
"What book are you looking for?" Paige asked.
"Nothing specific." Grey said, looking around.
"What genera do you want?" Paige asked.
"Crime." Grey smiled up at her.
"Crime?" Paige asked, chuckling.
"What? i'm getting older." Grey smirked.
"Here, what about this one?" Paige grabbed a book that read "the night in the hole."
"Hmmm, interesting title." Grey nodded.
Paige chuckled at the boy's fascination
"I'll get it!" He smiled.
"Thanks Paige." He hugged her.
"No problem, Grey." She smiled.
"Let's get home so we can go to the derby!" Paige said.
