okey so since it's Christmas I decided that since ill have plenty of free time I'm going to write a lot more so expect at least 10 chapters coming on, though they are going to be shorter than the ones I do now. Another chapter will be out in the next few days since I'm halfway through writing it :)

Regulus faced Sirius, who stood a few feet away from him, his gaze rested on Regulus' wrist. The bracelet Delilah had given him and the boys were peeking out of his black dress shirt.

"So, it's official, you and Delilah?" Sirius asked, Regulus looked at him as if he was stupid.

"Oh I don't know, maybe us going to London together last year, or spending the summer together here? Or me meeting her fucking parents today? I don't know Sirius, maybe it's just a big joke we decided to play on all of you," he shook his head, letting a humorless laugh escape his lips as he looked at his brother.

"What the fuck did you think, we were just joking around? And why are we here? It seemed pretty clear downstairs that you had nothing to say to me by the way you were avoiding eye contact with me when I was trying to get your attention," he said rolling his eyes at how stupid this was. "If whatever you want to say to me involves Delilah, I don't want to hear it."

He turned on his heels heading towards the door but Sirius' voice stopped him, "we sad last summer that we will try to get along again, I am sorry for ignoring you downstairs, I just didn't know what to say," mumbled Sirius, his eyes avoiding eye contact with Regulus'.

"And what was the hug for, huh? Sirius, please decide what you want to do because I'm not going to stand here arguing with you when I could be downstairs making a good impression on my girlfriend's parents because that's what she deserves."

"Meet me in Hogsmeade on Thursday, we could talk this over and see what we can do?" Asked Sirius hopefully, his eyes lighting up immediately when he saw Regulus give him a simple nod, a ghost of a smile resting on his face.

Regulus left the room heading downstairs to the living room, Fleamont caught his eye smiling at him as he gestured for him to take a seat on the couch. Leo was talking with Remus and James while Evan and Delilah were engaged in a conversation with her mother.

He took a seat beside his girlfriend, his hand immediately reaching for hers and he exhaled deeply when she felt her fingers squeeze hers. She sent him a quick worried glance but he shook his head, mouthing 'later'. He didn't bother to talk with anyone, he just sat there, looking at Delilah. She looked so much happier now, surrounded by her family.

Her eyes shone under the light of the moon as she laughed at the jokes Evan was telling them. Her smile was as big as ever, her dimples full on display, and he just sat there, staring at her hoping she wouldn't catch him.

Even Leo and Evan looked more carefree, Leo looked like he was enjoying himself, and his hands were forming gestures as he conversed with Remus and James, who both looked interested in what he was saying.

Evan on the other hand was laughing his ass off as Euphemia embarrassed Delilah by telling him numerous stories from when she was a child. Regulus cracked a smile in every one of them, trying to imagine the scenes in his head and it only made his smile grow more and more as Euphemia went farther on the details.

In the next hour, he managed to engage in conversations with Fleamont and Euphemia. Talking with Fleamont was a lot more nerve-wracking as James was also participating in the chat. They mostly talked about school and the question about what he wanted to do in the future did come up, he felt Delilah tense beside him overhearing their conversation.

Regulus tried to remain calm as he tried to find the most clever way to answer the question, "I was thinking of becoming a Potions Professor in Hogwarts, I could get trained under Slughorn but it's more likely that I will probably do something similar in the Ministry," he said, holding his breath as he waited for their reactions but he looked up confused when he heard Fleamont let out a laugh.
