When I wake I'm lying on the ground, in the middle of a street. Everything with the fire and the water I stumbled across comes back to me and I realise I must have fallen unconscious and floated to the top. But how did I get out?

Then I find a note under a rock next to me and unfold it:

Dear Rose,
I've almost done it. I've almost saved London. The Daleks are nearly gone. I just have one last thing to do, and it means you can't be with me until I've done it. I will explain later. Wait for me here. I will come to find you.
Love,
The Doctor

That's it. I'm not obeying the rules anymore. I need to find the Doctor. I need to find him. I'm not letting him do this alone. I saved him once - what if he needs saving again and I'm not there to do it?

And if he thinks he's sending me back to Parallel Earth...

Oh, he has no chance. I'm finding the Doctor.

I get up from the floor and brush myself off. I can see the tips of my hair are dark brown from the flames but I can worry about that later. My shoes are burnt also: the soles are dark brown and peeling. I decide to ditch them; it's highly unlikely I'll need them anyway since I've got socks and the ground isn't too rough. My jeans are singed but intact. I'm ready.

Where was the last place I saw him?

Back on the main street, which isn't far away, since I ran from there. I retake the route I ran to the water and find myself in the quiet, deserted main street. There's no sign of the Daleks.

Suddenly I realise I've got no clue where to look for the Doctor.

What's the use in looking for him if I don't know where to look?

Is there a chance that he could be at what was Torchwood HQ? If I'm correct, all the equipment still works and there may be a chance he needs it.

I'm finding the Doctor, and I'm not giving up until he shows himself.
