Louis gets up on the third day of his trip stretching energetically, as he feels excited for what's to come. He gets out of bed quickly, deciding to go for a jog to start the day. He feels he needs to sort his thoughts, and figure out what he wants to do today, with Harry of course. Harry is automatically built into his schedule now, because Louis wants to be around the younger boy as much as possible.
He slips on gym clothes and grabs his trainers, deciding to take the stairs to avoid the heat box of an elevator. When he reaches the bottom, he breathes in the sea air and feels the sun on his skin.
He could definitely get used to this.
Beautiful boys, wonderful weather, and so much sun.
Louis slips his trainers on, stretching his legs one more time before starting off towards the beach, deciding to run along the water. He slips his earbuds in, Material Girl by Madonna playing into his ears.
He picks up his pace, quickly finding his stride to the beat of the chorus. He doesn't make it too far, however, before he can feel his phone ringing in his pocket. He reaches down to look at the caller ID, smiling when a familiar curly headed man's name pops up.
"Hey Love, what's up?" Louis says, slowing his pace to a jog as he picks up the phone.
"Hey," Harry replies. "Where are you? I knocked on your door, but there wasn't an answer. Why are you out of breath?" Harry asks, with a nervous chuckle. Louis laughs, stopping completely and looking out over the clear water. A mischievous idea creeps into his head as a fish jumping out of the water catches his eye.
"Well," Louis pauses. "I just finished sucking off a beauty I found at the hotel bar this morning." Louis says, holding his breath to hear Harry's reaction.
"Oh." Harry says quietly, disappointment practically dripping through the phone. Louis feels bad immediately, heart dropping to his stomach.
"Wait, babe, I'm kidding. Sorry, that was a bad joke." Louis says nervously, hoping he didn't make Harry feel too mad or sad. "I'm just jogging on the beach, promise."
He can hear Harry sigh in relief through the receiver.
"Sorry." Louis says again, feeling really shitty as Harry's sad response replays through his head. "Here, lemme make you feel better," Louis proposes. "I'll head back, and I'll meet you in your room for breakfast in an hour, so don't even think about moving that pretty little bum of yours." Louis says, crossing his fingers that he didn't ruin the day.
"Okay." Harry says shortly, but with a lighter tone.
"Okay?" Louis asks. "Okay. Great, see you then." He hangs up the phone, mentally scolding himself before jogging back towards the main building.
When Louis gets back to his room, he showers quickly and gets dressed, spraying some cologne on his shirt and neck. He orders some food to his room, and when it arrives, asks to borrow the cart so he can wheel the food to Harry's room. The hotel worker says it's okay, and he packs a bag of a few more things before heading down the hallway.
When he arrives in front of Harry's door, he takes a deep breath and knocks three times. His nerves are eating him alive, seconds feeling like hours as he waits for the boy to open the door. When Harry finally answers, Louis smiles and waves shyly, revealing the cart behind him. Harry softly smiles back and moves out of the way, beckoning for Louis to come in. Louis wheels the cart in, stopping in front of the bed and waiting for Harry to join him. When he makes it over to Louis, the smaller boy throws his arms around his torso, squeezing tightly.
