Harry steps out of the cab into the warm Hawaiian air. He already loves this place. The smell of fresh air and the sound of crashing waves fills his senses as he walks around the car, meeting the driver at the trunk. He takes his luggage out of the drivers hands, still distracted by the environment while he pays for the ride. The driver takes the money graciously, thanking him profusely and Harry looks down, confused. Ugh. He had given him a $50 bill instead of $20.

Oh well, he was a nice guy.

Grabbing the handle of his luggage, Harry starts his way to the front desk in the open air lobby, bag rolling behind him, clicking on the stone pavement. The small clicks add to the serenity, engulfing him into his own little world.

He waits in line, oblivious to the stressed families who missed their flights home and who need a room quickly, as he takes in the small koi pond just a few feet away. Doesn't seem super smart to put a koi pond in the floor of a busy lobby, but he won't question it too much. He watches the fish swim around and around, admiring their reflective scales, until he hears someone call out to him.

"Sir?" The lady behind the desks calls, pointing her long finger nail at him before gesturing Harry to move up. "What can I do for you?"

"I uh need a room" Harry says, suddenly feeling self-conscious that he was caught staring into space. The lady smiles sarcastically and clicks one button on her keyboard.

"Yeah, a lot of people do," She sneers, eyes narrowing as she tries to distinguish if Harry is being serious or just giving her a hard time. Harry swallows the lump in his throat before answering, taking a minute to process the situation. "How long will you be staying in Hawaii?" The lady snaps, tapping her pointy purple finger nails on the counter.

"Umm, a week," Harry says, focusing his eyes on the design of the counter top instead of the lady's beady eyes and talon-like nails. "S-seven days."

"Yup, I know how long a week is." The lady replies quietly, typing a few things into her computer. "Name? Birthday? Billing address?"

The questions come in rapid fire, and Harry tries to answer as quickly as they were asked.

"Harry Styles. February 1st, 1994, and you can use this card." Harry says, handing his credit card over to the lady. She nods, typing in the information before adding his credit card details to the mix and handing the card back over the counter. Then she hands him an envelope with a room key in it, and other information about hotel breakfast, the complementary items and any special events going on this week. Harry nods and mumbles a 'thanks' before grabbing his luggage again and walking to elevators. While he waits, he can feel his relaxed and happy mood slip away from him when he thinks back on the negative encounter with the front desk lady. What did he do wrong?

He starts to feel claustrophobic as the crowd near the elevator grows larger and larger, sweaty parents with crying kids on the hips, cameras slung around the necks. Younger children pouting while holding their parents' hands. When he feels he may faint, the bell dings and Harry is first into the elevator, squeezing into a corner. He got a room on the highest floor, so he should be the last one out of the elevator.
