Yeji was having a hard time with working at the office that day so you decided to surprise her with bringing lunch to her so you can eat together.

Once you were finished preparing the foods, you took off towards the office in your car.

Yeji worked in a big building in the city, it was almost a skyscraper. And since Yeji had her own office, you guys could eat privately while enjoying a nice view.

You walked into the building and up to the front desk.

"Hi welcome to Kim Corporation, Do you have an appointment?" The lady at the front desk greeted you with a bright smile. You smiled back.

"I do not have an appointment, I am here to see Hwang Yeji" you answered.

"Ah, I'm sorry but we are not supposed to let anyone in without-"

A woman interrupted the lady politely.

"Hi, sorry about that. This is Ms. Hwang's girlfriend, Y/N" The CEO said with a bright smile to the lady.

"Oh my gosh! I am so sorry" the lady bowed.

"It's quite alright, I'm glad you are doing a good job to keep her safe" you chuckled lightly.

"You can follow me" The CEO said and scanned her card to let you pass to the offices.

"Thank you Ms. Kim" You continued to follow her until you got to the elevators.

"What have I told you about calling me Ms. Kim!? It makes me feel old!" She said chuckling.

"Sorry, Jisoo. Yeji doesn't know I am coming in today" You apologized.

"I figured, normally she would say that you are coming up"

You nodded and got into the elevator after a group of people came out. You bid your goodbye to Jisoo and made you way up to the floor that Yeji's office was on.

The elevator door opens and you walked out, hearing a bunch of commotion.

"I said to send it in my office by noon already! It's seventeen minutes past noon!" You heard Yeji groan which made your face drop to a sad one.

You know how hard Yeji works to make sure everything is on schedule, she is a very patient person so you knew that she was stressed out.

"I'm sorry Ms. Hwang, please just give me a few more minutes. I am almost done with this report" One of the workers said.

"You have until twelve-thirty, I can't give it in after one pm. So please..just try and send it to my office by twelve-thirty" Yeji sighed to calm herself down.

You walked towards her but she didn't really notice at that time since she was already occupied. You understood and tapped her shoulder.

"What is it this ti- Y/N!" Her face lit up with a bright smile as she threw her arms around you, giving you a tight hug.

"I brought some lunch for us" you held up the containers that were wrapped in plastic to show her.

"Thank you! thank you! I'm so hungry already!" She chuckled and gave you her eye smile.

"I bet, let's go" you nodded toward her office and she let you in.

You sat in the chair across from her at her desk while looking at the city after getting everything out from the containers.

"Hard day?" You asked her. She only nodded and took a bite of one of the foods.

"Mm baby this is so good!" She ate some more. You chuckled and patted her head.

"I'm glad you like it. Eat up, I have desert too" you began to eat after she nodded her head.

Once you both were finished eating and chatting, she had to get back to work but wouldn't want you to leave.

"Please? Just a little longer?" She begged you.

"Don't worry Yej, I'll be home ready to jump into your arms when you arrive" You assured her.

She gave you a sad nod and you proceeded to walk out of her office.

You heard footsteps rapidly coming from behind you.

"Wait babe!" Yeji called and you turned. Everyone turned their heads to look up at the noise.

Yeji gave you a little peck on the cheek while blushing.

You smiled and gave her a kiss on the head while waving bye to her, she was giving you her little pout face that made you feel guilty but you knew she had work to be completed.

"Hey! Back to work all of you!" Yeji scolded her workers and everything went quiet. You chuckled and shook your head as you walked into the elevators and went back home, smiling the entire time.
