you have a nightmare (requested)

You were waiting for Yeji to get home since you got off of work early. You started to watch a drama but then got bored.

You went into the kitchen and looked through the fridge but it seemed as if there was no food, so you shut it.

You decided to just play with the puppies for a while to rid your boredom but even after a long time the puppies got bored.

You lied on the sofa and closed your eyes, hoping to just relax and pass time.

After minutes of just listening to the dead silence, you fell asleep.

You were in a dream that was beautiful.

You and Yeji were in a field of flowers, a sunflower field. Surrounded by the golden flowers and warmth of the sun. Yeji's smile made the world a whole much brighter, at least to you it did.

It was just the both of you, no one else.
You started to chase after Yeji and snake your arms around her waist while swinging her around and tickling her.

Once her feet were on the ground, she pulled you closer to her. Your bodies touching, eyes staring straight into each other's worlds.

Her eyes smile that brought you happiness. The stars in her eyes that you are the reason for.

All you heard was angelic music and everything was in slow motion. That was until Yeji faded in front of you. It was all a hallucination, now you were in this pitch black dark room. You couldn't see anything, not even yourself.

You were hoping your eyes would adjust to the dark but it didn't, you tried to moved around until you heard a low growl.

You started to panic, you didn't know where it was coming from, you could only hear.

You heard water dripping from somewhere, then there was water below you, you felt it under you feet.

There was another growl, something scratched your side. You gasped and fell, holding your rib cage tightly as blood started to drain out. The growls were no longer low, they were right in front of your face.

At the last and final growl which was incredibly loud, you woke up, breathing heavily.

"Hey hey, it's okay...I'm here now" Yeji quickly took you in her arms, helping you to calm down so you can breathe.

She placed light kisses on you crown, cheeks, hands, nose, and lips.

"It's just a bad dream, nothing can happen anymore alright darling?" Yeji chuckled and held you tighter.

"Yeah, just scared the life out of me" you chuckled and nodded.

"What was it about?" Yeji asked while playing with your hair and rubbing your back.

"I don't even know" you let out a soft laugh "it was one minute we were in a field, me and you. A field of sunflowers, we were running around chasing each other, having fun. Then all the sudden it faded into the dark room and a creature was attacking me" You closed your eyes and let yourself sink into the warmth of your girlfriend.

You had your arms tight wrapped around her midline and your head was in the crease of her neck.

"Well, that creature won't stand chance against me in real life" Yeji boasted making you smile at her cuteness.

"Yeah just hit 'em like the mafia" you chimed in and kissed her cheek.

"Yeah exactly. Let's go get something to eat and clear your mind" Yeji kissed your head once again and you both got off the sofa and went out to eat. Like a little date night.

It definitely helped with taking your mind off of whatever that was.
