jay sighed, closing the worn down book he was supposed to be reading.

he was bored out of his mind and he couldn't bring himself to focus on what he was supposed to be reading.

he leaned back, reaching into the air as he stretched. the boy would let out a small yawn, trying not to make much noise in the silent classroom.

the light skin was about to put his head down and take a nap however he was stopped when a student swung the door open and started walking back to their seat next to jay.

"your turn." the light-skin stood, quickly leaving the classroom and walking down the hallway.

"finally.." the male murmured strolling down the hallway. jay walked into the office, greeting his counselor before sitting down.

"jay, as you know registration is this week and since next year is your senior i'm here to help make your schedule. the thing is since you only have four required classes you need to take next year, you still have a free class because you're required to take at least five classes. there's a culinary class you could take, or you could be an assistant for gym or in the library. it's completely up to you though."

"do i really have to take an extra class?" jay grimaced a bit at the thought.

he just wanted to get out of this damn highschool and he thought his last year was going to be easy because he would have fewer classes.

"yes you do. so, which class would you like to take?" jay rolled his eyes.

"i guess i'll take the cooking class." the male murmured crossing his arms.

the counselor smiled a bit before putting the information in the computer.

"thank you. you can head back to class now, and tell the next student to come in."

jay got up from the chair and left the office before heading towards class - rather slowly truthfully.

the male was so over high school if he was being quite honest.

he dreaded every class, most of them felt like a waste of time and he had nothing to look forward to when it came to school.

he didn't have any close friends, sure he had people he held benign conversations with everyday but none of that shit really mattered to him in the long run.

as jay neared the hallway of his classroom he heard what sounded like two people bickering back and forth, only to realize it was a teacher and student when he turned into the hallway.

"what am i being dress coded for? you can barely see my stomach." the student raised their voice slightly.

"that does not matter mr. burrell. your stomach is not supposed to be visible in school at all. i can see your abdomen." the teacher rebuttals.

"first of all i'm not a mr. my name is robin, and if you were staring so hard you could see my "abdomen" i think that says more about you than it does me." robin spoke once more.

jay snickered lightly as he walked past the two to his class, finding robins comment fairly amusing.

as jay entered his class room he glanced at robin for a moment, a chill running up his spine when he saw them staring at him with a small smirk on their face.

little did jay know that would not be the last time he would see that subtle smirk.

first chapter should be out soon <3
