Summary: After Klaus comes across her when she's injured and they're both in the prison world, what will ensue when they escape it, ending up in LA in the Angel verse?
It was a dismal night, as the former vampiress lay on her side on the ground. After what she'd been through in the person world she'd ended up in after being killed, she'd nearly given up. She was still in the prison world and injured, just waiting for two things. Either a rescuer or to finally die. After all, she was human. There were only so many things even she could live through. Getting toyed around with and being bitten by a vampire was something she couldn't live through. Not without help. And she wasn't a witch. She didn't know how, or even if, she could heal. She was only a human descended from Travelers. She'd barely learned just one spell before being killed. It was the only thing she'd learned that had been useful to her at the time. She guessed that now would be the time that she'd find out if she could truly die for good in this prison world. If that was the case, she hoped this time that she'd end up somewhere else, rather than a prison world.
Klaus had been in this prison world for a while, which currently was snowing. It had been for a while now. He'd been here ever since he'd died to save everyone from The Hollow. Now, it was out of him. He'd known ever since coming here that Katerina was here as well, having seen her in the distance when he'd first arrived. He hadn't seen her for a long while now, though. A part of him was thankful for that though, since they'd never really gotten along. Not after what he'd done to her for the past 500 sum years. But he wasn't one to apologize normally.
Klaus was walking through the woods of the prison world as usual, when he smelled the familiar scent of blood, Katerina, and vampire. Usually, he wouldn't care, but he knew she didn't have anyone to protect or help her. He also knew that she was human as of several years ago. If she was injured, knowing her, it was most likely pretty horrible. And since Hope had made him a half decent person, he couldn't just leave her like that. Leaving her for dead would be like killing her. Besides, despite the past, he'd never leave Katerina for dead. Besides, maybe if he helped her, he could find a way out of this prison world.
When he found her on the ground, a vampire approaching, ready to get to her level to probably finish whatever was left of her, she was half buried with snow. He could still tell that she was very injured, though. So, when the vampire continued to approach, he blurred behind him, quickly ripping out his heart. He then knelt down by her, pulling her gently into his arms. That's when he could finally see the damage.
"Katerina," he said, but figured she probably wouldn't be waking up anytime soon. He could see that she'd been bitten by a vampire. There were other injuries too, and she was pale. He wasn't sure if it was from blood loss or the cold, but he knew he had to get her out of the cold. He knew enough to know that humans and extreme cold didn't mix well.
When he got to a cabin he'd been staying at since arriving here, he layed her gently on the couch in the living room, which had a fireplace. He then looked at her wounds. He could see a vampire bite like he'd seen earlier, as well as an opened wound on her leg. The scratches he assumed to not be of any danger to her. She was lucky, being a human that had to survive a vampire attack. He couldn't help but admit it. He didn't know all that much medically speaking, so he hoped that he could save her, despite the long history of them wanting to kill each other.
