Chapter thirty-eight

Chapter 38

(Kaitlyn's pov)

"Breathe in and out in and out." Matt repeated to Emma.

"I just asked for ice chips." She some what yelled.

"I know I'll get them." Matt laughed before running out to get the ice chips.

"You're seven centimeters dilated." The nurse smiled walking into the room. Emma only let me, Matt, and Michelle in the room, for the time being. But Michelle wasn't here yet.

"I can't wait three more, get this damn child out of me." Emma complained.

"I'm sorry, I'm gonna go call Michelle again." I explained, walking out the door, I opened my contacts and pushed Michelle's name.

"Hello?" Michelle said sing-songy tone.

"Where are you?" I questioned.

"Oh the 5sos concert." I heard her smile.

"Is it done yet?"

"Yeah, but I still have the meet and greet."

"Oh wel-." I was cut of by Emma taking my phone.

"Michelle where the hell are you?" Emma yelled to the phone, she put it on speaker.

"5sos concert, it's done but I still have the meet and greet. Why?" She asked.

"I'm in labor come down here now!" Emma. Yelled again.

"I'm sorry this is an once in a life time experience, I'll be there in-CALUM!" Michelle yelled hanging up.

"So, she's ditching me giving birth for Calum." Emma hissed.

"No she will be here soon but when she is, she'll be here in Calum." I smiled trying to lighten the mood.

"Shut up." Emma said rolling her eyes.

"Sorry, I'm gonna get matt and I'm gonna ask Niall for food." I said as I walked out the room to see Matt dropping the cup of ice chips.

"Sorry." He apologized.

"Not me, you should be saying that to." I laughed as we picked up the ice. "You go in there I'll get the ice chips." I smiled grabbing the cup off the floor.

"Okay." He said standing up.

"Nervous?" I questioned the dirty blonde haired boy.

"Yeah, it's just I've never raised a living child before." He laughed a but scratching the nape of his neck.

"You'll do great, Gabe." I winked. I haven't let that go since Emma told me his real name.

"Thanks." He said sarcastically. I smiled one last time before he went in the room. I heard Emma yell at him about the ice chips, and him explaining that I'm getting them.

I turned down the hall to see the waiting area, there I saw Niall, Harry and Sophia. The rest of the boys and Perrie were getting food, Sophia was asleep, well Harry and Niall talked.

"Hey." I smiled.

"How's she doing?" Harry asked.

"Well, she's seven centimeters,she only three more Michelle is meeting 5sos and won't be here for a while yet. And where is my brother and his girlfriend?" I asked

"They just called, they're getting ready." Harry smiled in return.

"Okay, well I need to get Emma ice chips. Love you guys bye." I smiled, I turned on my heel and walked back to to the place where you get the ice chips.

"Bye." The said in unison.

"Where are the ice chips?" I asked a nurse as she walked past me.

"Down the hall, just ask the nurse there will help you." She smiled sweetly.

"Thank you." I started walking down the hall, then I saw it.

"KAITLYN WHERE THE HELL IS EMMA?" Michelle asked frantically.

"Room 142." I replied, walking back to where I was going.

"Ice chips?" The women asked as I walked to her desk.

"Yes please, my friend is yelling for them." I smiled to lighten the mood.

"Okay I'll get them right away then, but you do know that the nurse in her room can get them for you?" She explained. I knew this but Emma didn't want the nurse to leave her room. I mean I didn't mind.

"I know." I smiled, she took the cup from my hands, and walked away, only to come back seconds later with the plastic cup full of thin ice.

"Here you go." She smiled, handing me the cup.

"Thank you." I said, I walked back towards Emma's room. Once I got to the room I saw Matt and Michelle there, holding Emma's hand, as she yelled for ice chips.

"Emma I have the ice chips clam down." I said running to her side with he cup.

"Okay, good I'm fine." She smiled. Is this what she's like on her period?

"I have to pee, after I met the boys I ran to my car and drove here, I have to go really bad." Michelle wined before running out of the room.

"Fine I don't need you anyways." Emma yelled.

"Calm yourself." I whispered to the pregnant women beside me.

"Before I rec myself?" She laughed, then boom, contraction.

"Squeeze my hand." Matt smiled holding his hand out.

"Ahhhhhh." Emma yelled.

"Hello, so we are going to start the pushing now." The nurse smiled.

That kid was out in ten minutes, Emma didn't want that thing in long. They had a son, Pryce. He was 19'in. and weighed 5 pounds. He was adorable.

"Hey let's say we make one." Niall wiggled his brow.

"I would say lets do it, but you have a tour soon." I smiled.

"Then after the tour?" He smiled, hope in his eyes.

"Sure, why not." I laughed.

A/N

Hey, so I finally posted the last chapter, it was gonna be longer but then you would have to wait longer, there is an epilogue. Don't worry, I wrote the epilogue first so this chapter is the last thing I will write for this book. There's not gonna be a sequel, I'm sorry it's just I lost interest in this book. But I'm so proud in how far it's come. Thank you. But I am writing three new books and I have three books out right now too(and a completed short story) so if you want more of my writing there's those books.
