You wake up screaming from a terrible nightmare, the same nightmare that has plagued you since you hit puberty 3 months ago. The dream is always the same, you are outside a large church that you have never seen before and when a star begins to fall out of the sky heading for Faerun. A giant golden figure appears, his shield raised in the air trying to absorb the comet. The power of the comet brings him to his knees, his worried face looks at you pleeding "Elsebeth, help me" as he and the city is consumed in green fire. You quickly look around the room and it has happened again. There is a bubble of crackling goldern energy surrounding you. The thumping footsteps of your father coming up the stairs urges you to concentrate and search for the magical strand that will allow you to disipate this magic. He rushes into the room brandishing a large hammer with an angry, ready to fight look on his face that turns into a look of worry as he bumps into your magical shield "Elsebeth , please" he begs as you dispel the magic and he stumbles into the room.

He calms you down and brings you downstairs to the kitchen that is constantly hot as it backs onto your fathers smithy forge.

Your father makes you a midnight snack of sweet milk and fried batter with honey. You fall asleep in his arms with a full belly.
