Chapter 8

𝐈𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐆𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐞𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐚𝐥𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐲 𝐧𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐆𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐞𝐧

Sonic, Tails and their horse Lighting are walking in the garden while Shadow, Knuckles and Ray watch them at the balcony near the garden. Sonic was holding Lighting's saddle and he slightly look down with his ears dropped cause he was sad

Then Lighting his horse nuzzled him to cheer him up. Sonic smiled and pet's him then the dog jumps into the snow and jumps into Sonic arms. Sonic let out a soft giggle and hugged the dog.

But they didn't know that one werehog and two antics are watching them from the balcony near the garden

Shadow:*smiled a little* *in his thought* I never felt this for a long time... It's kinda new to me... Hmm maybe i should I do something for him

Knuckles:Um excuse me to interrupted Master maybe you should give something to the boy *he suggested*

Shadow:*in his thought* wait how did he? Ugh nevermind..... Yeah but what?

Ray:Well you can give him flowers, chocolate or...

Knuckles:No no no no it has to be something special that sparks an interest in his eyes

Shadow:Hmm *he walks off* *in his thought* I think I know something...

Knuckles:Wha-? Where is he going?!

Ray:Don't know

𝐅𝐞𝐰 𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐮𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫

Shadow bring Sonic to a room a special room for him, and the door to the room was right in front of them

Shadow:Sonic there's something i want to show you *he open the door slightly then he closed it quickly* but first close your eyes

Sonic raised his eye brow as he doesn't know about this. While Shadow gave him a trusted smile.

Shadow:Trust me and it's a suprise..

Sonic slowly closed his eyes with a little small smile on his face. Shadow smiled, then he open the door he gently grabbed both of Sonic's hand and lead him inside the room

Sonic:*his muzzle start to turned into light pink* *in his thoughts* Why does every time when he touches me, i always feel so nervous and my stomach has butterflies in it... C-can open m-my eyes n-now?

Shadow:*he smiled into a smirked cause of Sonic's behavior* not yet..

Sonic:You know i hate waiting right? *pouted*

Shadow chuckled softly at Sonic for being impatient and cute. He then they are already in the center of the room

Shadow:ok wait here

Shadow runs a little to a giant window that covered up by curtains. He moved the left curtain away as light came through the window

Sonic can hear that Shadow open the half of the curtain and smiled with excitement

Shadow moved the other curtain away as the sunlight fill the room. Then he face Sonic with a smile on his face and was little excited what would Sonic think about the surprise

Shadow:ok open your eyes.....now

Sonic:*his eyes slowly flutter open* *gasp then he looks around*

It was a library but a giant library, with many giant book shelfs and so many books then you can imagine. As sparks filled Sonic's eye with a smile of happiness

Sonic:I-i never seen so many book in my life *he looks around* have you really read all of this books? *looks at Shadow with curiosity*

Shadow:Yeah, well most of them i usually read them all the time it's kinda like my entertainment for myself *he crossed his arms* so what do you think?

Sonic:*giggles* it's amazing!

Shadow:Well then it's yours *gave him a warm smile*

Sonic:*his eyes widened and turned to him*  r-really?

Sonic was shocked in what shadow is saying. Shadow smiled and he nodded

Sonic:*smiled* thank you so much *he hugs him*

Shadow blinked in shocked from the sudden hug. He then slowly hugged him back. Sonic broke the hug. Then shadow placed his hand carefully on sonic's muzzle. Sonic smiled as he hold shadow's hand that was on his muzzle. As both of their muzzle are painted light red.

𝐌𝐞𝐚𝐧𝐰𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐞 𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐨𝐨𝐦

Some antics watch the both of the hedgehogs get along swimmingly, and they can't believe their eyes. The hedgehog and the Werehog are getting close

Vanilla:Well whatcha look at that *with a happy smile*

Knuckles:Ha! I knew he could do it *elbowed Ray*

Rouge:Your so right Knuckie~ they make a cute royal couple and I'm very proud to see him with someone *giggles*

Cream:Huh? What do you mean Mrs. Rouge i don't get it

Tails:Yeah same.. And what are they talking about anyway

Ray:It's very interesting *he walks off*

Rouge:Interesting~ and exciting~ don't you agree?~

Vanilla:Yes i agree and c'mon Cream we have some chores to finish and Tails you can help

Tails:Ok *as they start to walk and hop off*

Cream:But what are they talking about mommy? *with her innocent tone*

Tails:Yeah i don't get it, well a little

Vanilla:Both of you will know when your a little older
