Okay so I love writing but I'm pretty suckish at the whole thing but I thought I'd try writing a fanfic anyway, first part is boring but it will get better!!

Chapter 1
"I'll only be gone four weeks, it isn't that long." I emphasised the word 'that' as I sat across my best friend.
"Ugh. Why are you even doing this? You're skinny enough!" Jas moaned, motioning to my flat stomach.
I looked down, sighing. "It's not the fact that I'm trying to lose weight, I just want to become more fit. I sit around doing fuck all most the time - this will do me some good."
She nodded as I explained the reason I was going to be spending most of my summer at this fitness camp. Jas never was one for fitness, neither was I up until I saw a leaflet for this camp and thought it'd do me some good over the summer. It's not that I was fat, because I really wasn't. I just needed to be less lazy and more physically fit.
"Just promise you won't drag me into doing loads of physical exercise when you're back, I'm not up for that shit." Jas groaned, laying on her back and shoving another piece of chocolate into her mouth.
"I won't." I lied. "We have three days with each other before I leave, so let's make the most of it bestie."
"Gossip Girl and takeaway for the next three days?" We both nodded in agreement.
"Looking forward to it, I'll catch ya tomorrow."
"Wait Jas," she stopped, turning to face me, "can we go shopping tomorrow first? Train to Chester maybe? I need more sports shit."
She nodded, "text me train times later."
And with that, she was gone.

I skimmed through the rail in one of my favourite shops, Primark. There were so many different sports bras and tops to choose from and I couldn't pick which I wanted.
"I say, blue," jas speaks as she picks up a baby blue sports bra off the rack, "pink," she picks up a pink one, "and yellow."
I didn't even have time to argue as she dumped them all in the basket. Alright....
"So what do you do at this fitness camp?" Jas asked, making conversation as we admired all the clothes we didn't have the money for.
"I don't know yet, do I? Probably just intense workouts, running and stuff like that." I shrugged, not really knowing what I was getting myself in for.
She hummed in response.
"What're you gonna do without me all summer?" I smirked, knowing full well what her reply would be.
"Gossip girl, obviously, food, the occasional sunbathing depending on how hot it gets." She shrugged.
"Sounds fantastic." I murmured, not really meaning a word.
We spent the rest of the afternoon wondering around all the shops, not even being able to buy anything over £10 because that's just how broke we were.
"I'm going to miss you when you're gone." Jas spoke up. We were on the train back home and it had been silent for the past 10 minutes, the only sounds we could hear was the occasional humming along to a song, the train moving and other peoples conversations.
"That's cute. I'll text you when I have spare time though so it's not like we won't speak to each other for four weeks." I shrugged in response to her cute comment.
Shortly after the train was pulling into the station back home and I got off, leaving Jas on the train as hers was the stop after mine. I couldn't wait to just get home, put all my stuff away and then sleep. But when I got home, that wasn't the case.
"So I know you've been shopping today buying a few things, but.." my mother held up three shopping bags and grinned.
"But, you've got me some things too?" My eyebrow raised, not knowing whether I was asking a question or carrying on her sentence.
She nodded eagerly, shoving the three bags at me. "Try them on and show me. All of them."
I dragged my five shopping bags up the stairs, dumping then straight on my bed as I reached my room, muttering to myself as I did so, "this is going to be a fun night."A/N - I know it's short and probably pretty awful and boring but I promise in the next few chapters it will get better ones she gets to camp and meets Ashton!! Thanks for reading the first chapter. X
