I went back to the place where I had the accident. I know it would sound funny, but the sunset and sunrise of that place would give me peace, new hopes and a fresh start. As I progressed , I felt a gentle tap on my shoulder,
"Hey! How are you my boy? Fine now?" I heard the man's voice
As I turned to see his face, my jaw dropped.
"Hey! It's me! Doctor Madhav!" he said waving his hands in front of my eyes.
"Bhagwan!" I mumbled and stepped back.
The doctor seemed extremely confused.
"I know I treated you...I only did my duty, "
The pair of eyes were the same, similar to the stars at night. The doctor's smirk was the same smile I had seen in my coma state. I did vaguely remember the Lord's face, but know it seemed crystal clear.
I could not say anything and I just looked on. I noticed a small book in his hands.
"Is it Bhagavad Gita?" I questioned
"Um...yeah! I read it whenever I'm free, I usually come here for a walk, so..." He said and passed a smile
"What do you think about it?"
"I can summarize it in three words..." Dr. said chuckling
"How?"
"Bhagavad Gita actually says, "Mind your business" " The doctor said and continued
"That's the shortest form of Karma Yoga...In my point of view, of course..."
"I think I have to go now...I still have many people to attend to..." Dr.Madhav said and turned around
"Wait!...doctor!" I said
He turned around and smiled at me again.
"Thank you!" I said, and I was sure he could see the silent tears in my eyes. I glanced at the sun for a second and turned around to see the man who saved my life, but in turn was greeted with fresh, transparent breeze carrying smell of sandalwood perfume.
My hands unknowingly went into my pocket and felt something soft.
"A peacock feather..." I said looking at it.
Everyone is His child, after all.
