Ni-ki was so conniving. Heeseung concluded that when he analyzed the whole situation in his head.

He gave his own number to avoid the responsibility of having to make the first step and to make Heeseung look like a desperate creep prying on schoolboys or whatever this brat had in mind.

And Heeseung was actually so tempted but he avoided the thought like the plague.

He started jogging, just in case he might bump into the younger and every night he couldn't help but let his eyes slip to the booth's direction.

But nothing.

He either didn't come deliberately because he found the older weird or he was caught up in business.

But him giving his number meant something, didn't it...

After the eternal debate and some calls to two of his friends from the University he decided that it wouldn't be that weird to call since the other one insisted to give him his phone number.

A week later he finally pressed the button and...

The line was busy.

"Fuck!"

That's the most embarrassment that Heeseung felt since kindergarten where he peed on himself during a play.

He knew that he was hopeless but the phone actually rang after a good two minutes.

"Ni-ki?"

"I figured it would be you, Heeseung-ssi," the rough voice became even rougher through the phone. "What's wrong?"

"Nothing at all! I called you just to catch up, y'know... I remembered you while I was mopping the kitchen," he started blabbering trying to avoid any possibility of him sounding pathetic.

"Right. Nice..." the sound of chewing could be heard. "Anything new?"

"I wasn't the one who got the tattoo..." Heeseung mumbled as he almost chewed his lip off. The attitude of the younger made him feel so annoying and dumb. "Um... Does it hurt or what?"

"No it's fine. I put a bunch of ointments and stuff that Hasumi sensei said and I have to hide from the sun. Other than that no other change."

"Mm... Nice," he said, mentally preparing an excuse to hang up the phone. "So-"

"Well-" Ni-ki talked on him and both of them stop. "What?"

"No you go first..."

"I had fun last time, Heeseung-ssi. And thanks for the help."

"I... I had fun too."

"Do you want me to pick you up tomorrow?"

"That's what I'd say too," Heeseung lied. He would never had the guts to ask him that no matter how much nice last time was.

"Glad we're on the same page. So tomorrow at 11" suddenly somebody calling his name from the other line was heard. "I'll come at your house. See ya,"

He immediately hung up without even waiting for a reply. Heeseung looked at the phone as he went back to the kitchen to continue one of the assignments he did in advance to cover the SOS material of his gap year in order he could keep his grades up when he went back to the uni.

...

Heeseung closed the curtains of the windows as the time that Ni-ki would come arrived.

The bell rang and as soon as he opened there stood Ni-ki, in all of his glory with a black sleeveless shirt, a black Adidas tracksuit jacket on and a pair of grey sweatpants pants.
