Heeseung lazily opened his eyes as sunbeams welcomed themselves throughout the window in his empty apartment.

"Gosh..."

He murmured as he rubbed his head.

Slowly, last night's endeavours resurfaced in his hazy memory.

He turned his head to the nightstand where the numbers "12:03" where plastered on the digital watch.

Ni-ki probably has classes, he thought as he got up to take a shower.

...

The day lingered much too long for Heeseung's liking, as he was waiting for something, anything.

He tried to dull down his anticipation with any task that would come up in his mind, even opening the physics book from his university yet nothing moved the hours faster.

A soft pink haze was reflecting from the sky upon the time that Heeseung realized that he was utterly pathetic and should get a grip.

He seriously had to find a way to socialize here, because he can't be waiting for a seventeen year old to-

"Ni-ki?" he picked up the phone immediately after the first ring, cursing himself under his breath for being so desperate for some company.

"So quick to pick up... You think about me all day, huh?"

Heeseung could almost see the mocking half smile of his, judging from his tone but he was almost too embarrassed to even joke back.

"I knew you've been tired and all..."

"And who's fault is that?" Ni-ki said teasingly as his voice was drowned from another sound.

"Stop moving around," Heeseung said as he laid on his couch.

"I just woke up now, y'know?"

"You dreamt of me, that's why you called?"

"I'm too exhausted for dreams," Ni-ki scoffed as he left a sigh.

Some seconds passed and Heeseung was expecting an excuse from Ni-ki to hang up.

"Wanna have fun tonight?" Ni-ki suddenly asked.

"You just said you were exhausted..." Heeseung smiled unconsciously and once he realized it, he immediately brushed it off.

"I slept for some hours and I don't have something to study," Ni-ki hurried to say as some shifting noises were heard again.

"If there's no problem with you then why not," the older one shrugged as he started thinking of the places they could go.

"I'll be there in an hour." Ni-ki said finally and hung up.

...

A knock on the door and now Heeseung was up on his feet, ready to open it.

He checked himself to the mirror before reaching for the handle.

A black tee shirt and grey jeans, not to bad.
