The look for CT - 1409

“Y/N? What a surprise, seems that you found your way into trouble of Yalbec didn’t you?” Rex asks. “Yeah, let’s just say that things didn’t start off well for me with the batch. I heard about Cody from Hunter, is he gonna be ok?” You ask. “Yeah, he’ll be fine, he’ll be back into battle soon.” Rex informs you. “General Skywalker, a pleasure to see you again after all these years, how are things?” You ask. “Just trying to keep the galaxy at peace Y/N, & as of right now that doesn’t seem to be the case of what is happening here on Anaxes, but it sounds like The Bad Batch handled things well taking down the cybercenter.” Anakin says. “Yeah, we had some complications along the way but we worked things out with each other.” Hunter says. “So for you all being defective clones, it seems you all have had more training than the regular clones based on your combat skills.” Anakin asks. “Yeah, you could say that, for there only being 4 of us not including Y/N, we are a good team. Crosshair on the other hand thinks differently.” Hunter says as Crosshair comes up to Anakin who was impressed to see his sniper, Anakin asks if he could see it & Crosshair hands it over to him as he looks at the range on the rifle while Wrecker lifts a gonk droid in the background. “So, how many missions has your team been on Sergeant?” Anakin asks, handing the rifle back to Crosshair. “Honestly sir, I’ve lost count. Hmm, good question, can’t say I’ve got an answer.” Hunter says as Tech informs everyone that they were about to leave Anaxes & head towards Skako Minor.

Everyone held on as the Marauder lifted off & went into hyperspace for a few minutes & back out of hyperspace finding themselves in a difficult situation on the way in. “On this part of Skako there’s a race of locals, Poletec.” Rex says. “My intel says the poletec’s worship flying reptiles.” Tech says as a giant reptile lands on the Marauder causing Tech to see nothing & emergency land the Marauder. When the ship touches ground the crew rushes out including you. “Get off of there!” Wrecker yells through his helmet as the creature nested on the ship with the poletec. “Hey calm down! We need to talk to them.” Anakin says as Hunter questions him. “The General's right.” Rex replies to Hunter's confusion as suddenly more creatures fly in, they try to take Rex but Rex is pushed away by Anakin making them take Anakin instead of Rex.

As Anakin is flown away his lightsaber drops out of his hand & drops down to Rex who picks it up & carries it with him. “We have to go after him!” Rex informs as Crosshair suddenly switches from sniper to grapple on his sniper & sets up on Tech’s shoulder. “Relax, I’ll handle this.” Crosshair says as he fires it immediately latching onto one of the creatures. “What are you doing?” Rex asks. “Going for a ride.” Hunter replies as he grabs onto the rope holding on as it brings him all the way up to the creature that was holding Anakin. After Hunter takes down the creature he informs Tech. “Tech, I’m with the General, hone in on my signal.” Hunter says as he goes to the General & tries to figure out what the poletec are trying to say but until Tech shows up all he can do is wait. “Hey, can I tag along?” You ask. “Stay here, we’ll handle this.” Rex says as you sigh & go into the ship again. “Ok, I think we're gonna have a slight communication problem here.” Anakin says who was pinned down by the creature. “No calculties, disarm only.” Rex says as Hunter returns to his team. “Were on it captain. Wrecker, Crosshair, rockslide.” Hunter orders as they do so & the rest of the batch go in slow with blasters aimed at the poletec. “Tech, translate what he said.” Hunter says after the rockslide & freeing Anakin. “He does not want our war on his planet, that is why he took our leader.” Tech translates. “Tell them we apologize for what’s happening, tell him, the enemy is holding one of our men prisoner in procall.” Rex orders as Tech talks to them in their language. “He’ll provide us with scouts & take us to tambore city, from there, we’re on our own.” Tech says. “Any help is better than no help.” Anakin says as the team heads for higher ground to see what they're getting into but also to get into an argument with Crosshair ''I think you're letting your personal feelings get in the way. Because you left him for dead at the citadel.” Crosshair says. “I had no choice, you hear me!” Rex says. “Oh, I don’t blame you, I would of left him for dead too, besides, he’s just another reg.” Crosshair finishes as Rex gets into a fight with him but it breaks up quickly as Wrecker grabs Rex before he could do any more damage to Crosshair. “Why don’t you pick on someone not your size.” Wrecker says as he throws him. “You’ll be a whole lot smaller when I’m through with you.” Rex threatens Wrecker. “Break it up you two! Pick your men & scout the area for a tower entrance, I wanna talk to my Captain alone.” Anakin orders as Hunter does as ordered. “Rex, what is going on?” Anakin asks. “I’ve watched so many of my brothers fall during this war & I try not to hang on to any of my brothers. It was no algorithm, that was Echo’s voice, I know it!” Rex replies. “I hope you're right, if for some reason you're wrong?” Anakin asks. “Then I'll deal with it.” Rex replies as Hunter makes it to lower ground with his crew & Tech tries to find the right code for the entrance. “How’s it going Tech?” Hunter asks as he gets no reply & the doors open. “Sorry it took so long.” Tech replies as the team walks in. “Wait, wait, wait, a lift? How far up are we going?” Wrecker asks as he is scared of heights. “Don’t worry Wrecker, I’ll hold your hand.” Hunter says as Wrecker nudges him. “Hey cut it out sarg, just give me some droids to crush.” Wrecker says as they all get into the lift including Anakin & Rex. “This is a stealth mission, we go in quickly & quietly, no one knows we’re here.” Anakin says as the doors open & Wrecker goes running out first screaming & shouting as he defeats battle droids they have never seen before.
