Another day at the Mr beast filming warehouse
They had just finished a last to leave with Chris winning (again)
Karl had stayed behind to help Jimmy clean up the mess that was created by the boys

Karl didn't want to stay but he needed an excuse to not stream that evening, he was so close to slipping and he knew he wouldn't make it through a stream after the day he's had so he offered to help clean up while the others went home and changed before the dinner at Jimmy's place, god that would be terrible,

"Karl you okay? You've been mopping the same spot for while?" Jimmy called out knocking Karl out his thoughts
Karl turned to face Jimmy "Yeah im fine! I was just deep in thought"
Jimmy walked over to Karl placing a gentle hand on his shoulder looking Karl in the eyes "Karl talk to me whats wrong buddy?"
Fuck the pet names, Jimmy always called him buddy when they weren't filming and it was not helping him right now "Yeah Jimmy im alright"
Jimmy was not having it tho he took the mop out to Karl's hand grabbing them softly leading the boy to a bean bag chair
This was it for big Karl

Karl giggled at Jimmy, He smiled back at Karl unaware of what was happening, Karl looked around wanting bubba but because he was nowhere in sight he started to cry
"Karl whats wrong?!" Jimmy was confused not knowing anything "Bubbaaaaa!" Karl wailed leaving Jimmy much more confused "Bubba? Karl who's Bubba?" Jimmy crouched down in-front of Karl trying yo figure out who Karl wanted
So Jimmy did the only thing he knew of
He pulled out Karl's phone and opened Siri
"Karl bud tell Siri what you want" he just wanted he friend happy so when Karl quietly said "Call bubba" and the phone started ringing it would all be okay-
"Hello? Karl?" Sapnap? Thats who bubba is?
"Hey Sapnap its Jimmy" Jimmy stood up and talked into the mic "Jimmy?! Is Karl okay?!" The man stated in a panicked daze
"Yeah yeah he's fine, he was asking for "bubba" and Siri said that was you"
"Bubba? Wait shit" the sound of keys and doors opening filled the room "everything okay?" Jimmy asked, Karl had fallen asleep on the bean bag thumb slipped in-between  his lips "Yea, just realized what happened and Jimmy you cannot tell anyone, ill explain but you have to promise not to tell anyone" Sapnap stated as he climbed into his car connecting the call to his speakers "Okay just tell me" Jimmy was worried about his friend and just wanted answers "Karl's an age regressor, this means sometimes he's in the mind of a small child" Sapnap explained

It had been an hour since Jimmy's call with Sapnap
Karl woke up expecting to see his bubba but he was no where in sight so he did the only thing he could think of and cried
"Karl! Buddy i need you to calm down for me" Jimmy pulled the shorter boy into his lap and rocked him till the littles caregiver appeared

20 minutes passed till Sapnap arrived
"Karl, Jimmy!" The shorter man shouted as he ran into the studio "Bubba!" The little called out jumping  out of Jimmy's arms and ran to his caregiver "Hey baby!" Sapnap picked the taller boy up and walked towards Jimmy "how was he?" Referring to his littles behavior  "he was fine just cried when he woke up and you weren't here" Sapnap nodded looking at the little in his arms who was chewing on his shirt "what do you say to Jimmy froggy?" Sapnap whispered to his baby "tank oo Jimmy" Karl mumbled between chews "its alright buddy"
The caregiver and little left with a promise of a call later
