Sweet Aphrodite

Who was born in a creek of flowers

To which the gods have blessed her with beauty and strength

For although they have gifted her, along came with it a curse

In which her heart was cold as it was strong

Bless the days for in which she was bright

Cures the days for when she is dim

I plead for forgiveness when she is vexed

A simple mistake will make the creak overflow

Because dare I speak back to poor Aphrodite

Nothing will ever please the goddess of love

For her heart will forever acke

I fear for making sweet Aphrodite displeased

They all see she is pure with love and grace

I HAVE SEEN HER TRUE COLOR
APHRODITE IS NEVER PLEASED WITH ME

POOR SWEET APHRODITE
SWEET SWEET APHRODITE

HOW MAY I EVER PLEASE THE GODDESS THAT TURNS MY LOVE AWAY

FOR APHRODITE HAS NO ROOM FOR MY LOVE
I HAVE NO ROOM IN MY HEART FOR POOR SWEET APHRODITE

I LOOK UP TO MY APHRODITE
I SAY “APHRODITE HOW MAY I EVER BE AS ENCHANTING AS YOU”

APHRODITE WILL NEVER ANSWER

FOR THERE IS NO ANSWER

I WILL NEVER BE LIKE APHRODITE

NEVER WILL I BE LIKE POOR SWEET APHRODITE

NEVER I SAY

NEVER

As unfortunate as I am

Lady luck cursed me to be

For when I look in a mirror I simply see my sweet Aphrodite
