My Memory Grows Poor

I open my eyes and awake once more

Woken from a dream of mystery

My memory grows poor

Wishing I stayed in my world, empty and alone

Walls of marble

Doors of glass

My memory grows poor

Im alone

I await your return

One day my mushroom will call

To the god cursed to be alone

My tears turn to rain

My memory grows poor

I turn and say

"Why are you here?"

"To remind me of my mistakes"

"To cause harm on my heart"

"Tainted with so many times"

My memory grows poor

I fear one day I will wake once more

When I see you crying on the floor

I will not remember

For my I live the same dream

Hoping and pleading to the gods

"Let me stay" I say

"Let me stay"

My memory grows poor

Sweet aphrodite

I wish to forget

Forget all that you have done

And all that you have said

The pain you have left

I will return one day

All of my pain, all and more

Then you too will say

My memory grows poor
