It's been 5 days since the night ride with Ryley (and two days till i turn 18), and i can't believe i'm saying this; i actually miss the idiot and those mango iced teas- damn they were good. Toby has been extra nice ever since that night and it's getting annoying even though i've gotten free food ever since then, if it keeps going i'm pretty sure i'll need to go get new clothes.
"Audrey!" Toby called from downstairs, i groaned and quickly plaited my hair and grabbed my backpack. I threw a jacket over my shoulder and took my shoes into my hand and quickly went downstairs after he called for me yet again. The smell of food wafted up my nose, and i can tell it was sweet.

I walked into the kitchen and saw a stack of pancakes drizzled with golden syrup. Mouth-watering but this is the fifth day straight. I took a fork-full and stuffed it into my mouth. "No more after this! I mean it." I informed him with my mouth full, i wiped the syrup falling out the corner of my mouth and wiped it on Toby's shirt. He pushed me and i laughed my way out the front door where i saw Tyler closing his front door and waving at me. I waved back and jogged over to him. "Hey there." I breathed and tried to get my breathe back. He laughed and rubbed my back soothingly, "Calm down, and hey to you too."

Once i got my breathe back we began to walk. "I heard you and a certain someone went out last night eh?"  He nudged my arm and i rolled my eyes as he wiggled his eyebrows. "Maybe you heard right." I replied and he stopped mid-step. I turned to face him, "You actually..did?" He asked, i nodded my head and i grabbed his arm and pulled him along to make him walk or we'd be late. "Yeah, he invited me for his so called 'night ride' and i went along." I shrugged, it was nothing.
"Oh," He said under his breathe, but loud enough for me to hear, "Well. What did you do?"

"What is this? 21 questions?" I teased, "I'm kidding, we just stopped at some cliff and drank mango iced tea and talked. It's not like we did anything." I explained. He just nodded and went quiet for a minute before telling me about the party and the enormous hangovers the boys faced the next day. I just laughed but mostly kept quiet. Not bothering to say anything, just mumbled. God i feel bad for that.

We reached school just in time and i quickly walked to my first class; opening the door i saw it was empty- which odd for some reason because everyone would normally be in at this time but seems not.   I sat at the back corner and dumped my bag on the chair next to me. Claiming that no one, i repeat no one should sit next to me. I flipped my hood onto my head and leaned my head against the cool wall. "Look what we have here! A wild Audrey hibernating in the spring." A voice spoke up.

I twist my body to see Kian- the one i encountered when i wanted to know about Ryley-. "And this wild Audrey wants to scratch your face off for disturbing her." I spoke back. He laughed and picked up my bag, dumping it by my side and sat in the chair where i didn't want anyone sitting. Should've put something sharp, or gum. Whichever kept them away. "You know, the bag could've been there for a reason." I explained. "Well whatever that reason is. I could care less for it." He said.

"You. You do art?" I asked curiously. He took out his sketch pad and pencils, "No i just bought these for fun and came in here just like that." Sarcasm dripped out with every word. "Course i do art!"
I leaned back and slumped onto the wall, "Well geez a simple 'yes' would've be fine." I huffed and he let out a laugh. On that exact note, everyone piled into the room and claimed their seats. The teacher came, her hair now dyed a lovely light blue which complimented her light skin tone.

"Alright. Today i just want all of you to sketch whatever you think of. The first thing that come to your head, and i want you to repeat it- not the same image but a different image once your finished. Go wild with it, add what you want to it." She explained, "Go crazy. I want your books in after class so i can see them." She sat on her desk and played some music, then hopping off to get some coffee. She was the youngest teachers, and probably the most chilled out one too.

Kian snapped open his sketch book and instantly started sketching. My mind went to the view from the cliff, it still took my breathe away. Beside the music softly playing in the background and the sound of pencils sketching people's images.
I felt Kian's breathe come near, "So a little bird told me that you and my best friend went on a little date." I scoffed and sketched out the clouds, shadowing the edge. "You heard wrong, we just went on a little night ride since he didn't wanna get drunk." I whispered back, rubbing at my page furiously. I want these clouds to look fluffy, not 3D! "So basically a date." He nudged my elbow with a cheeky smile.

I rolled my eyes, "Alright Miss Sass," He whispered to me, "Anyway, there's a party on Saturday. Wanna come and watch Tyler be drunk and watch us feed him random stuff?" He suggested. I'd rather not be drunk on my birthday, but i kept that to myself. "No thanks. I, uh, i've got some work i gotta get done for Monday." The lie easily coming out.
"You are so boring, more than my grandmother and she plays chess for half the day." I laughed softly but continued to finish my drawing. It was finally complete and it was just on time. "Right, i want your sketches in, finished or not."

Everyone stood and began to pile they're decorated sketch books onto her table. We walked out and the bell rang, finally freeing everyone for a few minutes before they go to their next class. I went to my locker covered in cross and bones stickers and band stickers. I swung it open and grabbed my bag with my kit for P.E. Physical activity and i do not mix.
I walked to the changing rooms and quickly changed into the shorts and a white short sleeve. I slipped on my white Converse and tied my hair into a messy bun. I saw Lillian tieing her hair into a messy plait. I glided over to her while she tied her shoelace.

"Hey almost birthday girl." She greeted with a smile. We walk into the hall where the boys were chattering away. "So what do you wanna do?" She asked. I shrugged, "I don't really do much, i just order a pizza and watch movies. Might just stick a candle in a pizza slice." She shoved me in the shoulder. "I'm serious, you are going to be 18! That's huge."
"I really don't do much, and i don't like doing much." I said and before we went into the sports hall i saw someone hanging behind the wall where we were talking. I shook it off and began to shoot the basketball into the hoop. Still thinking about who that was, and how my 18th birthday will turn out...

(Enjoy! It's basically a filler, and i am going to skip to the day of the birthday. DRAMA IS COMING, I REPEAT! DRAMA IS APPROACHING! But other than that, i'll update soon! I'm almost at 200 reads! Let's get it to there guys! Thanks for reading. Sorry for any mistakes ;D
