"Are you even listening to me?" Lily cried out, flicking a green bean at my forehead, i snapped out my daze and stared at her, "Yes...something about world peace and all that." I flicked my hand and went back to my drink, holding the warm beverage in my hands. "Right. Okay that's it!" She growled, "What is going on with you? You have been staring at a wall for over ten minutes and didn't even listen to what i was saying, which i must say is quite rude." She crossed her arms over her chest and slumped back into her chair. "Sorry sorry sorry," I said quickly, and slid my 'very berry' muffin over to her, "You need something sweet." She rolled her eyes but accepted my token and chewed happily. "Its just his stupid little mind game, its killing me!" I said while flipping my hood on my head to cover the sun that was pouring out the window and yet again began to ignore Lily's blabbering- yes its rude but can you blame me?

I pushed myself up, "You know what?" I began, "I need air, its way too stuffy in this place." I walked out, leaving Lily shocked and a little hurt, i swear she looks like a lost puppy. Guilt starts to build up, i turned my head and mouthed "sorry", she sighed and nodded her head, giving me an understanding smile. I walked out the school doors where i saw Cole leaning over the water fountain, taking a long gulp of water, he stopped and stood back straight and wiped his mouth on the back of his hand. He turned and saw me, smiling and he waved his hand. "Hey!" He greeted, and walked towards me, "Hows your little investigation going?" His cheeky smile making me feel better. "Its going-ish." I shrugged and he laughed. "I think i can help you with your dilemma." He took my arm and dragged me to the little woodsy area behind the school.

"Alright. This is where his second half hang out. They also know everything about Ryley, they won't spill everything but i guess it'll help with something." He said, smiling at me.

I hugged him, "You have saved me from insanity!" I joked, He mimed flipping his hair and gave a cheeky grin, "I know that. Now go before they finish their smoke." He walked away, leaving me standing alone. "All right Audrey, lets start" My mind spoke softly. I turned and pushed a branch away, the velvety leaves against my palm. The smell of smoke filled my nostrils and soft chuckles filled my ears. I pushed my way into the open where four eyes met mine. "Who the fu-"

"I don't think you should even finish that sentence." I talked back, leaning my back against the tree behind me. "So your the famous Audrey Ry has been blabbering about."

I rolled my eyes and decided to take a chance and sat on the tree trunk beside them, "You want one?" The one with dark green eyes offered. "I don't smoke," I said, "Enough chit chat, i'm here on business."

Green eyes laughed, "What are you?" He asked, "A female Sherlock."

"I'm surprised you know that character despite your appearance." He held his hands up in surrender, "Woah there princess, aren't you feisty."  He scooted closer next to me. "What is this 'business' then eh?" He asked, air quoting 'business' . The one with hazel eyes watched me carefully, studying me from head to toe. However, not in a perverted way, in a protective way. "We don't need to know. So you can kindly get away from us." His voice cold and hard. "When my question is answered then i will. Don't think you can scare me pretty boy." I spat back.

He kept quiet and diverted his eyes back to his friend; who nodded his head and turned back to me. "Right then," He began, "We might as well introduce ourselves before you kill us."

"Who says i'mgoing to kill you? I might just kidnap you lock you in some abandoned warehouse and leave you there." I joked, Green eyes laughed along but Hazel eyes stayed quiet.

"I'm Kian," Green eyes- Kian introduced- "And my amigo, Casper."

Okay Audrey, Green eyes; Kian.

Hazel eyes: Casper. Got it.

I studied their features further, Kian had a nose ring in his right nostril and Casper had the same also a little lip ring on the right. Casper's and Kian's hair was in a messy quiff but Casper had a streak of blue, it contrasted well with this brown-black hair.

"Now what can we do for ya?" Kian asked, taking a quick puff off his cigarette.

"I want to know this real Ryley." Casper raised his eyebrow, "Good luck with that, we're his best friends." He spoke. "So don't think your gonna get anything out of us." He said, standing up and brushing down his shirt.

"I see hes got you confused and irritated. I can just feel it." Kian said, "Well damn Guru Kian, how'd you guess?" My voice full with sarcasm. "Hold the sass princess. Or we won't spill." He smirked.

"Dude!" Casper exclaimed, "what kind of friend are you?" Kian just rolled his eyes. "I'm not actually gonna tell her you idiot. What kind of friend would i be?" He explained. Kian turns to face me, he motions me to sit down and i do; warily. What am i getting myself into?

Kian cleared his throat while Casper rolled his eyes at his friend's actions. "Ryley is a mixed character, but he is very deep and secretive. The only way you can actually get information out of him is by being close with him- friend or best friend wise. Being an aacquaintance is not allowed.

That's why we know everything about him, we're basically brothers...from different people."

Casper shook his head, "Took us so long for him to open up." He then stood and came closer, "But if you dare use it to hurt him in any way then oh god- or whatever is out there, so help me i do not care if you're a girl. I will hurt you." He growled. Kian stepped forward and curled his fingers over his shoulder, Casper took a breath and backed away to take a long puff off his cigarette, turning his back to us.

"Good luck." Kian simply said and they walked away. Leaving me to my thoughts...

A clamor of students began to walk out, indicating the day is finally over. The sun burned over my head and just even after a few minutes the grounds became empty. There might as well be some tumbleweed rolling because its that empty. I began to walk out the grounds where the roar of an engine filled my ears, i turned and saw that wretched motorcycle approaching. I jumped in the way and it skidded to a stop. I swear my life flashed before my eyes.

"Oh! What the hell are you doing?!" Ryley yelled and took off his helmet. I walked up to him slowly and extended my hand toward him. He looked at me as if i'd gone crazy, and i think hes right.

"Hi" I spoke, "I'm Audrey?" He cupped his face in his hands, "Am i being pranked? If i am, get lost." He snarled. "I was thinking...we could start over and be merely friends?" I offered, he furrowed his eyebrows and titled his head in confusion, "Excuse me?"

"Yes you have heard my correctly, your not going crazy. Why don't we put everything behind us and be...friends?" I choked out 'friends' 'ARE YOU GOING CRAZY AUDREY BECAUSE I THINK YOU ARE!' My conscience screamed at me, 'ABORT! ABORT!'

"If i say yes will you go?" He asked me and raised his eyebrow, i nodded my head slowly, "Then fine."

"Okay, see you later...friend." I softly punched him on his arm, he looked at me weirdly, "R-i-i-ght. See you, friend."

As he put on his helmet, he turned and a small smile grew on his face slowly. A genuine smile, not a smirk but a smile! Little bursts of energy blew up...wait what?

He revved his engine and drove off.

I just hope this goes well and we actually can be friends, and not come back in my face to haunt me.
