Chapter 26 - Final Chapter

Kyoya:

I wasn't allowed in for a couple hours, the others joining me after a bit.

Haruhi assured me she'd be alright.
I told her I wasn't worried in the least.

That idiot is hard-headed, she'd come out of that room yelling about how she'd missed such an ' awesome carriage chase scene'.

Something like that.

Finally, we were let inside the hospital room she stayed at.

Everyone filed in, and Ranka even showed up after a little bit, crowding the room rather awkwardly.

For a while, no one said anything, until the nurse broke the silence by explaining how long she'd have to stay in the hospital, any medications she would take, the bill.

Ranka and Haruhi both seemed a little panicked at that, but Tamaki assured them he'd help pay.

We only stood there for a few more minutes before everyone started out again.

I stayed, hesitating and checking that everyone was gone before I slipped to the side of the bed, leaning in and givjng the brunette a simple kiss on the forehead.

" Like we said, "

" it's true love~~~ "

I huffed, glaring at the twins and pushing past them to leave.

We still had a ball to go to, didn't we?

Everyone but Haruhi and Ranka started to leave, but Haruhi stopped me.

" I'll call you when she wakes up, " she assured, but I shook my head.

" no need, I'll have the hospital call" I replied, before starting off .

All through the ball, I thought about it.
And worried.

However, I was careful no to show it, and the night went on without a single thought as to where the usual musician was.
