Chapter 10 Just the Beginning

Months have passed and Michelle is 8 months pregnant and Zahria is 5 months. She think her dad doesn't know. But we all know that he does. I graduate less in a week. Dad and J.T are in Jamaica taking over the drug world. I just hope they safe because them Jamaicans crazy.

"Bae the baby kicking", Michelle said placing my hand on her stomach.

"Wassup lil man", I said.

He started to kick even more.

I headed to the shower. I bathed for about 30 minutes and hopped out. I put on my boxers and basketball shorts. I walked downstairs and sat on the couch while Michelle got in the shower

"Hey baby", mama said.
"Wassup ma", I replied.

I could tell how she looked she wanted something.

"What you want ?", I asked.

" Can you pick Cameron and grandma Cheyanne from the airport?", She asked.

"Ughhhh, why you can't do it?", I asked jokingly.

"I need to get my toes done and plus they here for your graduation ", she said.

I just stared at her. She started to laugh.

" Yea and take Michelle with you ", I said handing her money for Michelle.
I ran upstairs and put on a shirt. I grabbed my phone and keys and headed out the door. I pulled up to the airport and then saw my grandma and uncle.
"Damn! Cameron tall as'f", I said to myself. I hopped out the car and called their names. Once I got their attention my grandma ran and hopped on me. I caught her and started to spin her around. That's my baby ,even though I done heard everything about her drug addiction and trading my mama. But I think of it like this... If it wasn't for her my dad wouldn't have never got with my mama and made me .

"Wassup nigga", Cameron said.

I was weak.

"Wassup Cam", I replied.

We got in the car. "Where your mama?", Granny asked.
" At the nail salon with Michelle getting her toes done", I replied.
"Take me there", she said

I drove for about 10 minutes and I dropped my granny off. Me and Cameron went and got something to eat. We were sitting down eating and I glanced at the date on my phone "oh shit! The baby shower today", I said. After we got done eating we headed to the store. I had a lot of shit to pick up for the baby shower. I've been so focused on the trap, school, and Michelle, I forgot all about it.
We left the store and headed home I sat the things for the baby shower in my mama room.
I headed to my room and changed clothes. Not too long after we got home the ladies had pulled up. Michelle had came upstairs and changed her clothes. Man she looked beautiful. I'm usually not faithful but for her I completely changed.
Mama headed to the lake house which is where her shower was and they started to make sure they decorated the building as she planned. She told me she'll call when she was ready for her to come.
My mama had called and me and Michelle had left to go to the shower. When we got there everybody was there including my niggas Javari, Marquise, and Quan. As usual Grayson was going to be late. We ate and played games surprisingly I had fun. They had Grayson to put on this fake pregnant belly. He started to imitate Michelle. He must've studied her because he looked and was acting just like her. After hours of having fun with mine and Michelle's family we had to pack it up and leave.

Today is Graduation day and a nigga graduating with honors!! I've been waiting for this day every since my freshman year. I'm surprised I'm even graduating because of everything I had going on in my high school years.

They were calling names so we could walk across the stage.

They were finally at my name. " Graduating with honors Landez Rutledge Jr.", my principal said. Everybody went crazy including parents. " That's bae", Michelle said. I thought my life was something then but this is just the beginning...
