Leaving The Nest

(Grayson POV)

I couldn't sleep thinking about the fact that I'm about to be a father. I flipped the covers off me and headed downstairs to the kitchen. I know I said I wanted a baby but I didn't expect it to happen this soon. I walked in the kitchen and grabbed me an Arizona Tea and started pacing around. Then my brother came downstairs "what's wrong with you, why you pacing? And I didn't know Octavia was here", he said. "You ask a lot of questions", I said as I continued pacing.

"Grayson what's wrong!" , L.J shouted

"Keep your voice down nigga and Octavia is pregnant", I explained.

L.J's mouth dropped. "You lying, well I guess you got what you wanted"

"Yea but I didn't know it was going to happen that fast"

"I'll help you don't stress it's not that hard and I understand you young but you'll be ok ", he said.

"Ok but I think she got put out her mamas house cause she came with a lot of bags", I explained.

"She'll be ok here don't worry we all gone be straight "

" I gotta tell mama I just don't know how", said

"Stop acting all scared she ain't gone trip"

Just then my mama had came downstairs I didn't even know she was back from the trap. "Hey babes", she said while grabbing a water bottle out of the refrigerator. "Grayson what's wrong" , she said sitting on a stool at the island.

I couldn't lie to her because my mama always knows when something is wrong with her children.

I paused for a second and then I took a deep breath "Octavia is pregnant", I mumbled under my breath. Me and Junior sat there waiting on her reaction. She started to laugh "I knew you were next you can't keep your dick in your pants", she said. I let out a little giggle I felt somewhat relieved.

"Y'all and these babies and shit I'm gone have to buy y'all a house for y'all and your little families", ma said.

"For real?, that's clutch ", junior said.

"Yea but it got to be on this side of town so y'all will be close and Grayson can stay at the same school", ma explained.

We agreed to start looking tomorrow. Mama went back upstairs and me and my brother stayed in the theatre room watching movies until we fell asleep.

(The Next Morning)

I went back upstairs to get in the shower but Octavia was up so I just decided to go ahead and talk to her. "What's up Bae", I said . "nothing much just a little sad that my mama put me out" "don't worry about that I got you and my baby", I said while rubbing her belly. "Plus we're going to look for a house today "who?", she asked "Me, you, L.J, Michelle, Jay, and Zahria and of course we ain' leaving Zayvien ", I replied. We talked for a little while and then we got in the shower.

(L.J POV)

I woke up this morning and told Michelle about the house seeking plan today. She seemed so excited she got in the shower while I watched Loyal. She got out the shower and I jumped in.

"Why did your mama all of a sudden decide to let us get a house", she asked.

"Its not just us plus Octavia and Grayson about to have a baby and Zahria and Jay too she feel like since we got these families we need more space ", I replied.

"Wait ,Octavia pregnant?", she said in confusion. "You didn't know", I asked.

"Not until now ", she said.

"Well go down the hall to talk to her she came and told Grayson last night", I said.

" I wonder did she get put out , my auntie so mean to her ", she said.

" I think so she did come with bags", I replied.

She left out the room and headed towards Grayson's room. I got the baby dressed and headed downstairs.

A few minutes later Zahria and Javari came downstairs and so did my mama and everyone else. We headed out to some nearby houses.

We had already viewed 2 houses but they weren't really our type. We're now on the third one and this is the shit. It had 3 floor 3 bedrooms on each floor a game room a theatre 8.5 bathrooms and a pool that sits in a big ass back yard. It wasn't as big as ma and dad house but it was still nice. My mama on the spot paid 600,000 dollars for our house and the real estate agent gave her the keys.

We left to the furniture store and picked out out furniture. Our house was going to be decorated in white. The furniture people was going to meet my mama at our house so they could bring our furniture and set it up while we went back to mama house to pack.

We got back to the house and started to pack our things and the moving truck was just arriving. We packed our things and loaded them unto to truck.

(A few hours later)

We are now finished packing and everything is in place. I went to Wal-Mart to make everybody a copy of the house keys. As I'm sitting waiting on the keys to get finished I see Jessica and Rock. They didn't see me but I saw them. They plotting on something I just know it I feel it in my bones.

"Here you go sir", the lady said handing me the keys. I left out of Wal-Mart and went home.

"I told you that hoe ain't dead ", I said to Grayson.

"How you know, did you see her?"

"Her and Rock was in Wal-Mart and shit I saw them but they didn't see me", I said.

" I think they plotting like real shit ", Grayson said.

"Y'all calm down we just moved into our new house we'll handle that when it need to be handled", Javari said.

Of course all of the women agreed. We ordered pizza and headed to the theatre room we watched a few movies and the girls went to sleep I carried Loyal upstairs and put him in his room and Michelle followed. We got in the shower and laid in the bed together. It feels awkward without my mama here but I guess that's all apart of leaving the nest.
