Mainly, I switched it to 1st person POV because I feel that I can create scenes easily with 1st person. Hopefully everyone is okay with it.

"I need to head back to Korea, mom and dad" My eyes travelled to my father as I mentioned him. I felt empty, the feeling where the world was under my hands and all the problems combined was just on me. I promised him that I would be in his side whenever things goes upside down to him, but what did I do? Nothing. I couldn't stop blaming myself for it.

"Your Fiancée told us, we know." My dad slowly nodded his head and gently tapped my shoulder. "Sometimes life flows we never wanted. But that doesn't mean we're going to give up, right?"

I lightly nodded. "But dad, she's not my Fiancée. Who in this world would be happy if he gets forced to marry a woman who never knew existed in this planet."

My dad lit up a light smirk on his lips, is there anything funny from what I've said? "She's waiting for you at the airport. Don't worry son, she'll tell you why."

The sun welcomed me with a bright smile as I opened the cab's door. Cold breeze blowing anywhere in the airport and the scent of the morning time managed to lessen the heavy feeling I'm carrying. I pulled my luggage out from the cab's trunk that cost me half of my stored energy, it was one of a heavy bag even it only consisted of my clothes.

"You can have your hands on my computer inside my office, the files about the 10.9 version is stored inside the folder, got it?"

"Got you sir, where are you going by the way?" Dgian inquired on the other line.

I sighed heavily as I continued my way towards the gate where the ticket woman asked me to go. "Back to Korea, it's just a 14 day stay and hopefully nothing happens while I'm there."

Dgian gasped. "So for sure you're going to see Twice there? Oh my god."

I groaned and lightly shook my head. "I don't care about the K-pop shit anymore, what's important is you focus on that project so that we can present something good for the next month."

"Why'd you have to be serious all the times, sir. Pretty sure you haven't move from Shane yet, huh."

My eyes widened with that assumption from my annoying best friend. I can't speak loud as I'm inside the plane cabin now even my mouth wanted to burst swear words at him. The ticket says my seat is at B27, every seats in the economy area starts with the letter 'e' and I assumed that the 'B' means Business.

"No way you can say that shit to me," I argued softly as I covered my mouth with my hand. Walking inside the Business class area, I finally noticed that the seats were labelled with 'b'. My seat was gladly beside the window, plus the seat was spacious and the legroom was perfect enough for me to spread my legs widely. "I swear to god don't ever mention that name again. I've moved on from Shane and there's no reason to bring her up again."

"Who's Shane?" A woman voice came on my left that made me look to her. It was the woman that I saw last night that my dad was referring as my Fiancée. I never expected that she would be alluring up close, everyone is beautiful for me but she's just different.

"Nobody," I answered and gave a quick smile before I soaked my wallet inside the small gap between the handle and the cushion.

"Oh my, is she you current girlfriend that's going to be your ex girlfriend from now? Or whatsoever," she teased. The way she spoke english was somehow a combination of sexy and sweet.

"I said nobody, come on." I answered hastily and turned to her immediately. "Plus, are you an American cause you don't look like one."

She furrowed her eyebrows. "Was that supposed to be an insult?"

I shook my head. "It's not an insult, it's basically a question that you need to answer because I'm very curious. You don't look like one but if you are then," - I started making random gestures with my fingers - "you're a hybrid."

She raised her eyebrows and began nodding in response. "Oh it's definitely an insult, you called me hybrid as if I'm a goddamn animal, gosh." Rolling her eyes, she leaned back on her couch so she couldn't see me and crossed her arm. "Should had put you on the farthest back."

"Definitely not my fault," I muttered and leaned back on my soft couch too. I turned to look over the window on my left and watched the skies turn blue. It doesn't symbolize peace for me, it's somehow a sign that I shouldn't be controlled under the dark thoughts that was covering me. I tried to keep myself stable as possible, but returning back on that memorable land seemed to be different from now.

Almost half of the day had passed and the plane was still hovering above the sky, I slowly opened my eyes and got welcomed by the blue lights above the cabin. I fell asleep as I dwell into my thoughts about all the problems stacked inside me awhile ago. My body felt stiff when I tried to move, the feeling where I was frozen for a million years and learned to walk again on the present day, I should have slept in a bad position for sure. The woman beside me was covered with a blanket and had her beautiful sleep until now. I checked my phone and gladly there were no missed messages or calls, the crews never knew my phone wasn't on airplane mode, I never did it on purpose though and definitely I forgot to turn it on.
