First Time updating again because I just want let everyone know I'm still alive. Been active in Tumblr more but since alot had requested an update so here it is. Stupid enough I never made an actual outline in this so I forgot how everything happened back then.
The door creaked, and the clog-tick sound after assured the door closed. He kept his eyes on you, like he would do something, throw a fist at you, or maybe drown you in a bowl between the closed rooms. You cared less, flipped the faucet on and splashed your face with the running tap water.
"You're back, part time fucker-ah?" Baekhyun started off. It was a great start to hear from him. Shutting the faucet, you breathed out and shook your head.
"Ah? Exo guy is here." You kept your eyes closed pretending you couldn't open because your face was wet. "Everytime I hear that word, I know it will be you."
You heard him run the faucet with you.
"Guess you've already known those kinds of people you wouldn't want to bump into, aye?"
"Not that I memorize them, it's just that I hate annoying people. It's a natural feeling, you hear their voice again, you'd think 'ah it's this person again'." You meet his eyes through the mirror upon wiping your face with a long pile of tissue you pulled seconds ago. Then he chuckled, put his hand under the faucet and let the water run down his hands while he swiveled it clean.
"Hey, Part time asshole." He pushes down the faucet shut and turns to face you, that smile seemed to stay yet the sense of anger was there. "Why won't you just leave the country again, huh? You really had the courage to work here? Are you trying to persuade Taeyeon to forgive you after you've left her?" He pushes your shoulder. "We may not be together anymore, but ain't giving you a shit to play with her feelings, alright? Now if you're just going to continue with your games, then I'll give you a reason to stop."
"I don't really care about your ex." You face him back while you fix and pull your collar straight. "Why not go tell your director to fire me? As if I liked working here anyways. You see, I'm busy back in the states. I'm supposed to leave a few weeks ago if not for your gorgeous director who'd tie a belt around your neck and hold your life like a dog."
He grabs the middle part of your shirt, between the two buttons. "Yah?"
"Punch me? Go ahead, I'm not the one who's getting embarrassed. How would your fans react if their bias assaulted an office worker inside the building?"
A soft scoff escaped between his smile, and shortly he let go of you. He maintained eye contact, speechless. You could see the anger in his eyes. Then he turned away, pulling the door open and closed it in a slam but not loud enough for the whole floor to hear. It was done. You are relieved and one deep sigh was enough for the heavy feeling inside you to go away. You were glad that you managed to control yourself.
Back in the room you dismissed the girls. Karina invited you for a quick coffee session, but there was no time, so you rejected the offer. The frown on her lips, then changed it into a forcing smile whenever you look at her. You promised to yourself you'd make up to her.
Before entering the car, watching the surroundings, left and right, all directions, would always be the usual routine. You felt they didn't disappear, and someone would always try to follow you. Cars filled the parking lot. The humming sound of an exhaust or machine on the ceiling.
~~~
You saw Jessica as you stepped out of the car while you scrubbed a faint mark on the windshield. The condo's parking lot wasn't filled despite being 7 in the night. She carried a paper bag. Her green long sleeves swayed with the rhythm on every step, they looked expensive. She paused when she noticed your presence.
