Since many days there have been on going protests in Gurugram / Gurgaon regarding muslims offering prayers on the roads and public parks.
People have been peacefully protesting against it, I support it. Not because of any religious reasons, but because of practical reasons.
Imagine if there was an ambulance with a patient in a life or death situation. How can it pass if the entire road is blocked ?
Each second is crucial for that patient, then how can he wait 3 min because some have chosen to offer prayers on the road ?
People have been complaining that they get late for work, traffic jams happen.
Luckily the CM of Harayana Manohar Lal Khattar has said that it will be now illegal to offer Namaz on roads. Which is good and practical.
But not everyone is seeing it in a practical way, some 'intellectuals' have said that Hindu extremists are not letting poor muslims offer their prayers.
This tweeted by Political analyst Rana Ayyub..... Looks like she forgot that offering Namaz by blocking roads is a violation of Article 19 Right to freedom of Movement.
That's why no one takes Rana Ayyub seriously as a political analyst in India.
