Sailors it's cosy time ! Grab your tea/coffee, pull up the blankies and let's get comfortable !
Let me give you some of my unpopular opinions !
1) The acting of Star Plus Mahabharat is better than acting of BR Chopra Mahabharat. Like in the latter you can say that yes the people are acting (but it's not overacting in anyway) but in SP version you feel like witnessing the actual thing, the acting style is very natural.
2) The farm laws could have been one of the most revolutionary laws for agriculture sector in India, but taking them back for now was a good move by PM. Just see the aftermath, the political agendas especially Khalistani forces behind it weakend. It was necessary for India's national unity.
And I refuse to believe that the ones protesting were actual farmers. Ek purani kahavat hai ki Kisaan sirf ek din apne khet par nahi jata aur woh din uski mrityu ka din hota hai......
After the red fort incident, many big leaders backed away. The ones who stayed like Rakesh Tikait were just there to get a ticket to parliament, they almost succeeded but still failed.
3) Karn's armour and earrings are overrated, like if with them killing him was impossible then why did Karn run away so times in battlefield ? Chalo Kurukshetra mei nahi the uske paas, toh Gandharv yudh aur Virat Yudh mei kyu bhaga ????
Yadi mere paas Aisa kavach kundal hai jiske karan mujhe maarna asambhav hai toh mai kyu ranbhoomi se bhagungi ???
4) Believe it or not but the most accurate portrayal of Ravan was done in the serial Siya ke Ram by Karthik Jayaram.
The makers really showed his cruelty, him pulling out eyes of Kuber, Rambha's rape, killing of Surpnakha's husband, his views about using force upon women etc.
Although many things were inaccurate in the serial like Mata Sita advocating for Surpnakha, or Ram ji initially denying to enter the house of Shabri etc, the portrayal of Ravan was very realistic and accurate.
It was as if they refused to please and patronise those mindless people who idolize Ravan over Shri Ram.
5) I am not quick to judge a movie before it comes out but I don't have much faith on Saif Ali Khan being Ravan in Adi-purush.
Like kehte hai ki Ravan ke saamne devta kaapte the, mai Saif Ali Khan ka chehra dekh ke yeh baat nahi maan sakti ki isse devta darte the.
If you see the portrayal of Ravan by Arvind tridevi in Ramanand Sagar's Ramayan and by Karthik Jayaram in Siya ke Ram, there arises a sense of fear in the hearts of viewers.... Like when they are on screen, dekh ke lagta hai ki haa 👹RAVAN👹 aaya hai.
Now some people said ki have faith Tanha ji mei accha villain bana tha. I agree, but that was a psychotic villain, Ravan was not a psycho.
They should've chosen someone like Rana Dagubatti or Yash from KGF, they have an intimidating aura which would've been perfect for Ravan. I really root for Yash as Ravan.
Look at that intimidating vibes, aisa hona chahiye Ravan, dekh ke insaan ki fatt jani chahiye !
6) Speaking of Adi-purush, I neither have much faith in Prabhas being Shri Ram, he is a great actor no doubt but I don't know.... he seems too bulky for the role. He would've been a very good Hanuman ji or Sugreev/Bali. I feel like Mahesh Babu would've been perfect as Shri Ram.
He looks youthful, his physique is perfect for the role, not too thin not to bulky. Because when I think of Shri Ram, I don't think of a bodybuilder kind of a person like Prabhas, that physique is for Hanuman ji.....
But at the end of the day the movie hasn't been released so there isn't much I can say. I hope I am proved wrong cause it's ✨RAMAYAN✨ and I want it to be good.
Although I do have full faith in director Om Raut, who also directed a masterpiece like Tanha ji.
