I fell for him

Chapter 7

I stood there in shock, staring at Parker and Tally, That's when I look at Tally's outfit. She was wearing a black tank top and white boxers, clearly a pair of Parkers.

"Look Emily it's not what it looks like!" Tally says grabbing my wrists, I snatch my wrists out of her hands. "You're right, it's exactly what It looks like."

I storm out of her house and got in my car, I had this weird feeling in my stomach and I wanted to cry, my heart felt like it had been ripped out of my chest.

I pulled the car over and stepped out, I don't even know where I am, I drove somewhere randomly. I sat down and slid down the side of the car. I pulled out my phone and called one of my oldest friends, Sarah Tillman.

She goes to my school but we never talked, I thought about calling my brother but he's probably busy with a girl, and Tally's being a whore.

I dial her number and I hear her light voice on the other line, "Hello?" She speaks softly. "Hey.. It's Emily, sorry it's like 9.. I need someone and I'm pretty sure you're the only one that I trust now." I say through my cries.

"Yeah, where are you? I'm coming." She says moving around, "Um, I'm not sure." I look around and see a street sign, "Maple berry St, and I'm on the side of the rode." I say sighing.

"Oh okay, yeah I know where you're at. I'll be there in ten, right when I get there we'll talk. Don't do anything stupid." She says before she hangs up.

I put my phone to the side of me and look around, There's barely any cars driving by and I see Sarah pull up and park her car behind mine.

She jumps out and runs to me and sits next to me, "Isn't it to late to be outside, by yourself, in the middle of nowhere?" She questions me, "Have you ever felt like you need to move somewhere, for fresh air, new faces, new places, or new food?" I say ignoring her question.

"Yeah, I mean I don't just wake up and say I wanna move somewhere, but it's crossed my mind a couple times." She says staring up at the stars. "We should do it." I say turning to face her, her face turns from straight to surprised.

"How about we talk about what happened and why you're having this sudden mind change?" She says. "Stupid people.. People I trusted actually." I say turning back to face the street.

"Was it Parker?" She ask putting her palm on my shoulder, speaking softly like if she said the wrong words I would break. I nod slowly.

"Gosh." She breaths out frustrated. "I told you! He was just gonna hurt you." She runs her fingers through her hair.

"Yeah, I let him in my life.." I say. "Gosh I feel so stupid." I say sighing loudly and I feel my phone vibrate by the side of me and I see its a text from Parker saying;

"Please.. Let me explain. I love you."

I love you..

Those three words kept repeating in my head, over and over again. I got frustrated and threw my phone on the road, watching it shatter into tiny bits.

"Woah. You just broke your phone." Sarah asks surprised. "I have money to buy a new one." I say looking around and notice a little bakery, remembering myself that I'm starving.

"Wanna go eat at that little bakery?" I ask Sarah pointing across the street. "Mm, yeah why not. But I didnt bring money, since you know.. I didn't know I was gonna go eating at nine at night." She says crossing her legs together.

"I'll pay, after all you came this way to have me cry like a little bitch." I say and she just laughs. "Yeah, free food, especially cake, then yeah." She says smirking.

We both stood up and I grabbed some money that was on my dashboard and we both ran hand an hand across the street, trying not to get smushed by the hundred cars driving by.

We finally arrived and I opened the door and the light hit me in the face. "Yes cakes!" Sarah says jumping up and down. "How may I help you two young ladies?" A young tall brown haired boy behind the register asked.

"Oh why yes you can." Sarah says patting her eyelids and swatting her hair. The young boy looks at her in disgust, "What kind of cakes would you like?" He asks, "Chocolate with rainbow sprinkles please." I say and he smiles and nods, "That'd be eight dollars and seventy five cents." He says and I hand him it.

We go and sit, "Gosh, he's totally not into me." Sarah says putting her head down and leaving her hair to fall onto her face. Sarah has long smooth brown hair with blonde highlights. Her eyes are blue with hints of emerald green. She has the body anyone would die to have.

"You came off to strong." I say. "You're a bitch." She says and I just laugh. "Thanks, I've been told." I smile.

"Your cake is ready." The young boy yells, I stand up and take it from him, "Thanks." I say and walk back and put it on the table.

"Thanks for being here for me." I say as she lifts up her head from the table and groans, "Ugh it looks so good." She puts her hands on her face, "I'm so tired, but food wins over anything." She says digging into the food.

We finish eating the cake and we head out thanking the young boy. "Want me to drive you home?" She asks me as we walk out. "No Ill make it, but thanks for everything, you're amazing." I say and hug her goodbye.

I see her get into her car and drive away. I enter my car and drive to my house. I still keep thinking about Parker and Tally, how could they do this to me? Betray me..

I arrive home and I see Tyler outside with Parker, standing in front of the front door, I step out of my car and slam the door.

"Where were you?" Tyler speaks as I try to walk through them. "At a bakery." I reply. "With who? And why?" He asks.

"Here we go again with the dumb questions, and if you must know, I went with Sarah and ask Parker why." I point to Parker and wipe my cheek making sure I wasn't crying, I cover my hands with my face making sure they don't see the red crying marks on my face.

"Why were you crying?" Tyler lifts up my chin.

"Sarah lied to me and I got mad, I couldn't hit her so I cried instead" I say shrugging it off, "Don't lie. You don't look cute when you lie." Tyler shakes his head.

"You know, I am really enjoying our interrogation here, but I think I really should head to bed, since I have school and all?" I nod and they both move away from the door.

I take a quick glance at Parker and he sends me a 'Please let me explain' face. I sigh and walk upstairs, The only thing I wanna do is go to sleep and forget about this horrible day.

I woke up way sooner than I was hoping to have woken. Well It felt like I only slept for an hour but in reality I slept for like five or seven. It was five twenty seven and I only had thirty minutes to change.

I decided on sweat pants and a white baggy t, that may or may not have had a grease stain. I step down stairs and thankfully my brother had already left to school.

I decided to walk to school (like always) I was praying to God that I wouldn't run into Parker because I don't know what I would do. I would either Punch him or murder him, I haven't chosen yet.

I guess I didn't pray enough and he ended up next to me, "Hey Emily listen-" He says but I cut him off, "Listen to what? The bullshit that's gonna come out of your mouth? How you didn't mean to have sex with her, It just happened? No. I would rather not, you could live your life with her because honestly I'm done with you and her." I say and run not listening to anything he said, only to six words that made my heart flutter;

"But I can't live without you."
