"Jaehyun is currently handling the ceremony."

The said male just nodded, not even surprised by his father's words as he already knew about his task. The meeting ended shortly after his father reminded him. All the business men and women check on the notes they wrote and arrange their documents before accusing themselves. While some of the higher officers, mostly middle aged men stayed there to have a small talk. Probably manipulating, or just exchanging opinions for the brighter side, if you ask Jaehyun's thoughts about them.

"You're doing your job, right?"

Jaehyun stopped on his track before looking at the man, "what's the purpose of hiring party arrangers then?"

"Well, I just don't want them to interrupt me while working so I need your help. You know They asked a lot of questions," the father explained, his voice was soft. He frowned when he heard his son sigh, "What's wrong, son?"

"I still have documents to finish." Jaehyun sadly smiled.

A laugh ringing through Jaehyun's ears, "I told you, you can drop that. I want you to think of this as a vacation. You look tired these days. Please help me, will you?" The father patted his son's back and rubbed it rather harshly making Jaehyun smile a bit.

This doesn't feel right, dad. "Do I have any other choice?"

"That's my boy." The elder smiles proudly at his son.

As he passed by, some staff members greeted him. Others simply ignore him, either because they need to focus on their work, or because they want to treat him like any other person. He believed that the people who treated him like a regular person were the finest to socialize with, since they didn't give a damn about his status. It feels weird whenever he sees an older employee talking to him courteously and he's aware it should be the other way around. Sometimes, he could sense the respect he received is purely an act, and he also learned it from the worst way possible. Money rules everything, people would do anything; even kill for it, as his father once said.

"Are you now leaving, Mr. Jeong?"

Jaehyun took a glimpse at his personal assistant focusing on his desktop as he sat on the chair outside the office. He merely said, "yes."

"I would like to remind you about the evenue we will be renting. We're going to check it out tomorrow." Minhyung said in a very professional tone.

"I will keep that in mind." Jaehyun replied in a chilly manner. He then furrowed his eyebrows when his personal assistant keeps staring at him. "What's wrong?" He finally ask.

"Nothing, sir. You seem tired." Minhyung then add, "you're a bit.. too pale."

"I'm alright." Jaehyun decided to end the conversation there.

"Okay then, have a nice evening. Please call me if you need any help. I'll be there helping you." Minhyung smiled.

"Thank you," rather waiting for his response, he entered his office and took all his stuff and went to the underground parking lot.

He loosened his tie before leaning on the car seat with closed eyes. He's so tired, mentally and physically so worned out. His starts to throbbing in pain, but that won't stop him in any way from working. No matter how tired he is, he will always be in denial. A yawn escaped from his mouth as his eyes slowly closing by itself. Just a nap won't hurt.

Trrt... trrt..

Jaehyun immediately shot his eyes open when he felt his phone vibrated on his thighs. He answered the call without even checking the contact name.
