Christmas

The bright snow fell on the windows of the small apartment where dwelled Kokomi and Gorou. They had no chimney, so contented themselves with the artificial warmth of a heater, Kokomi wrapped in fuzzy blankets.

They watched some shows on Netflix as Gorou stared at the gifts with the temptation of ripping all of the wrappers apart.

There were only a few small presents that were to be opened during the Christmas party Kazuha was hosting (he has the richest parents so he usually hosts the best parties).

In the apartment of Sara and Raiden however, the two were already quite ready. They were dressed, accessorized, and packed some things in a small bag.

While waiting, Sara was taking a nap while Raiden watched "top 10 easiest recipes for students (quick and easy, try now!)" since she refused to listen to any other piece of advice.

The time passed by quickly, and everyone was ready to leave.

They were all wearing bright red clothes, mostly sweaters or fur coats in the case of Raiden. The gifts were stored in the back of their cars, and they each made sure to not let them fall.

At the party, Kazuha greeted them, taking their gifts and placing them under a giant tree while Beidou drank whine as she flirted with her wife.

The wife in question looked more suited for a ball than for a Christmas party.

Kokomi and Gorou weren't the first who arrived, most certainly not they saw a few others.

By others, I mean Venti with Xiao, Yanfei with Hu Tao, Eula with Amber, Ayaka with Lumine, and a few more. Some Christmas music was playing from who knows where while some danced to it (at least Lumine tried to make Ayaka dance, but failed miserably since it resulted in Ayaka running away in embarrassment).

It seemed like the Halloween party all over again, but this time it was more cheerful, and no one had to worry about people not recognizing them since their faces weren't covered in either face paint or a mask.

Once Sara and Raiden finally arrived (as they were slowed down on their way by who knows what), everyone was ready for the gift opening to start.

They all sat down in a circle like kids at a birthday party, and the presents were in front of them. They each took those with their names on them, and once Beidou said, they tore the wrapping away.

There were a few screams of delight, such as that of Hu Tao upon receiving a barbie dressed in funeral clothes that you could fill with water causing it to tear up.

There was the last present, and on it was the name Sara in bright purple letters.

The Sara in question took the small package, shaking it in her hand before deciding to open it. Inside there was a paper ring and a paper heart. She looked at both gifts for a moment, wondering who gave them. She felt honored that someone cared for her in that way.

She didn't bother to pay attention to whoever may own an identical ring, she was happy knowing she even had one.

But you as the reader (and I, as the brilliant, incredible, amazing, show-stopping, spectacular, never the same, unique, completely not ever been done before, unafraid to reference or not reference author) may want to know who was the other owner.

On the finger of another young girl was the other ring, and it was right under a red fluffy glove.

The other paper heart was with that girl too, but hers was made of more than just paper.

Venti looked at the ring that was gifted and smirked as he took it, as curious as a child finding a new toy.

They examined it, paying attention to if there was a name written o it or not, but to his disappointment there was none.

"That's so boring, what's the point of it if no one can see where the other one is? Wahhhh...

- Oh shut up, it's a nice gift either way.

- I find it lovely! I wonder who may be the one to think of you in that way miss Sara~" Kokomi said while she smiled sweetly, acting as if she didn't know anything about it.

Childe came in with his little brother Teucer, and Raiden's, Scaramouche.

"Oooooh~ wonder who's the lucky dude!... Or girl, I'm not homophobic guys I swear."

Whoever gave the gift at least pleased Sara, but she was still hoping it was someone in particular.
