(AN: If you are confused by the timeline, a friendly reminder:  Rob got sold to Jesse in the morning, got shot in the afternoon, waited until midnight to speak to Rutte, got told to wait until Midnight to meet Jesse,  found out hubby was Edward Cullen and then went to meet his mother.)

I woke up in a strange room, one filled with posters of Famke Louise, Snelle, Ralf Mackenbach, the popular fictional boyband Big Time Rush. The walls were painted a pastel purple.

"Where am I?" I asked to the smiling face of Kendall, I wished he wasn't fictional.

My frightened orbs looked around for clues, I couldn't remember a thing, somehow.

The sofa I woke up on was a light blue color, a few heart-shaped pillows lay beside me.

The bookcase beside the door was stuffed with books like the 'Babysitters Club' and '100% Coco'.

Everything in the room reminded me of a bedroom for a typical, almost stereotypical, teenage girl.

Everything except for the small crib in the corner.

Suddenly the door opened, and a blonde woman in a tidy pantsuit walked in. suddenly I remembered everything.

"Hey son, how are you?" She asked, "Did you sleep well?"

"Yeah," I answered, leaving out that my neck hurt a lot from sleeping on a sofa, and that i woke up very cold because I didn't have a blanket, "What is this place?"

"Well," she answered, walking up to the crib in the corner, as she tenderly dragged her long fingers over the wooden frame, a single tear escaping her green eyes. "This is your bedroom." she smiled, "Well it was, before that man stole my son."

I shook my head, Pointing to the pastel purple walls. "But this is a girls bedroom." I stated.

My new mother sighed, "Ugh Robbie, Gender Roles, really?" she put her hands in her hips, "I thought i raised you better than that."

I pointed to the framed picture on the bookshelf, the frame reading 'Mommy's little girl' above a photo of a younger Sigrid Kaag and a baby dressed in a fluorescent pink dress with the text 'Girls just wanna have FUN-damental rights'.

Kaag raised her eyebrows, which were finely manicured. "Raising a boy didn't resonate with my reputation." She said, "It wouldn't be very girlboss, surely you understand that right?"

" :/ " I said, kinda insecure now.

"Great that you are so open-minded, son" Kaag said, looking at her watch, "Now let's go, we have a press conference to hold." I always dreamed of being a real, professional politician (I was still a hobbyist) and speaking during official conferences, but I had had no time to prepare for any sort of speech.

"What's the conference about?" I daringly asked.

"About your disappearance, of course!" she said, taking a sip of coffee out of her 'Organized Crime's best Mother' mug, I didn't remember gifting it to her.

Suddenly the door slammed open, there stood Lillian Marijnissen, holding a hammer and sickle, I startled and screamed, but noticed that my new mother didn't go out of her way to protectively stand in front of me.

"Ma'am!" Lillian Marijnissen yelled, "We have to go now!" I was hit by a feeling of deja-vu and her presence reminded me of Sjoerd Sjoerdsma, in a way.

"Alright, let's go." The older blonde said.

As we stepped out I saw how Lillianne Ploumen stood next to the car, sneakingly talking to a walkie-talkie.

.......

after we drove for a while we entered the city of The Hague. from my window I could see the balcony where Jesse Klaver had told me his biggest secret, I was an empath, and could sense a great deal of distress coming from the place, even from this big of a distance, 'did he really miss me that much?'  But i had no time to ponder that question, I had to prepare for the press.

We arrived in a large hall, filled to the brim with the press, and cameras making sounds. My mother pushed me onto the stage before she walked after me.

"Hello people," she said, radiating a confident aura. "I have very good news: my son has returned!"

My eyes were met with the flashes of a multitude of cameras, I couldn't see.

"We were told your kidnapped child was a girl, can you explain??" one reporter said, pressing a microphone in my face.

"Haha, no comment." my mother answered in my stead. leaving no room for discussion.

"Where did he go?" another one asked.

"He was kidnapped by the Mafia organization of Jesse Klaver, we saved him just in time." Everyone present in the building clapped, it was a true story. I tried to look over all the journalists, in the corner i saw Lilianne Ploumen, she whispered something to a man wearing sunglasses and a trenchcoat, he stood, hidden in the shadow of the corner. and i could only see his silhouette. who was that man? And why isn't Ploumen standing on the stage like the rest of the communist women?

SUddenly a huge explosion went off at the door. My mother didn't flinch, but I did, and fell on the ground. Two men raced up the stage, one of them was the man that was talking to Ploumen earlier. Now i recognized him, it was Wopke Hoekstra, and the other man was Gert-Jan Segers.

I stuttered: "W-what are you doing here!" I stammered and looked around "Is J-Jesse here too?" I worriedly tucked a loose strand of hair behind my ear.

"I'm here, don't worry." A strong male voice said, it was him.  but I didn't know if i should feel safe, i was with my real mother now after all +he was a literal fucking vampire +ratio.

"You stay right there you fucking Soy Boy beta Cuck." Sigrid Kaag whipped out a gun out of her recently steam-pressed Gucci Blazer and pointed it directly between the glaring red orbs of my old boyfriend.

But he didn't look afraid, not even in the face of certain death.

He nodded towards someone behind the strong independent woman. Before mommy could react, Ploumen pistol-whipped a gun against her sleep, and she fell unconscious to the ground.

I was absolutely stunned and even more confused. "Is she dead?" I asked.

"Probably not." was the answer i got from Ploumen, I didn't even know she had it in her to do something so violent like that.

I picked myself up from the ground, and looked around in the hallway, all the journalists had probably fled after the explosion, but Sylvana Simons and Lilian Marijnissen were held at gunpoint by the two men. but I was sure they wouldn't hurt them.

Then I looked back at the Mafia boss, as he held out a hand for me to take. His slim lips formed a sly grin. but it still felt comforting to me, "This is my auntie Lily,  she was on our side since the very beginning." He said as she gave the older woman a quick side hug, "Welcome back Robbie, i missed you dearly."

I felt tears rising behind my eyes, and rushed in to give him a hug as well.

"Me too" i quietly admitted.
