Chapter 8 - Well, guess who

None of us speak a word, it was a short ride but it feels like ages. As soon the driver stop in front of my apartment, I said thanks that barely human hearing can hear and sprint out. After I open the door and lock it as soon I’m inside, I take a deep breath to help me calm because the atmosphere at the car make me hardly breathing. I know he didn’t say a anything, but even without saying it he make me nervous and scared. I don’t know if he is mad at James, me or the both of us but before I can think any further there was a knock at the door, oh my god not now.

“Theresa open the door” why he didn’t just leave me, I need time to think about everything

“No”

“Open it or I’ll break this door” the nerve of this man is driving me crazy. Because I really love this door, so I open it and without saying anything he just walk in, right.

“What do you want Nicholas” he turn his body “You” he step closer and I immediately step back because I want to get close too him but then I feel my back is touch the door, damn.

 “I want to make it clear that you’re mine Theresa, that day, the first time we meet, I know that I have to have you” I close my eyes because our face was so close, i can his breath on my face “It was like you sold your soul to the devil, because you can’t escape Theresa, even if you want to” he lean closer, oh my god he is going to kiss me! but before that happen someone knock on the door making me jump, holly mother of cheese, thank god!

“Hey Tes you home?” Emma! I will cook our breakfast and dinner for the next week! I push Nicholas body so I can have a space to turn around without my back touching his chest but this man didn’t move an inch, urgh. “Nic, please” after that he step back, make a space between us. “THERESA YOU HAVE TO EXPLAIN EVERYTHING TO ME” I think she didn’t realize that Nicholas is behind me, Em you’re going to embarrass yourself after this.

“Em, calm down you know h-“ I step back a little so she can get in “CALM DOWN YOU SAID, YOU ARE THE OLSEN HEIRESS AND ENGAGED TO A WALKING ADONIS SEX GOD, OH MY FREAKING GOD” she see Nicholas behind me, well I try to tell her but she is just being herself. Then she pull me to her and whisper “why you didn’t tell me” then she pinch me “Aw that hurt, I’m trying to tell you but you just keep shouting” she glare at me then turn her head to Nicholas and give him an awkward smile

“Remember what I said Theresa” then he walk out, how rude.

“ You have to tell me everything” she emphasize every single word then drag me to the living room, for the love of god please remind me why I’m roommate with this girl

After explain it to Emma, she can’t stop grinning from ear to ear all I wanted to do is remove that grin from her face because it’s really annoyed me “Aw Tessa darling, you know no matter what happen I’ll always by your side okay? I know that this engagement seems in rush because seriously you guys haven’t date or do anything like a couple will engaged do but I can see it in his eyes that he care for you, maybe he like you –a lot- let’s just see where this thing go” I agree with her, I never do any romantic things with Nicholas -well except tonight- and I didn’t know about him personally to judge who he is but knowing that he is a ladies man, I’m afraid that he’ll break my heart.

Because today I didn’t feel like going anywhere, I ask Emma to join me to watch netflix and she said yes, while she bring cookie dough ice cream and I bring the butter popcorn, we put the foods between us so we can share. We watch mean girl, confessions of a shopaholic and 50 first date after that we order pizza because we’re too lazy to cook anything. I hear my phone ringing and answer it without looking who is it
