"Why are you here?" but before she can say anything my mother beat her "Theresa darling you here" she hug me and kiss my cheek.
"Hello mother" I return her hug, I love having her as my mother because in 3 months I work at Olsen Industries she is really nice and polite, sometimes people like her -who have a husband that run a Multi-Billion dollar Company- is rude and always look at other people like they are below them but she is different.
"Come on, your grandmother can't wait to see you" she step aside so I can step in, I look to my right to look at Emma, I'm still waiting for her to answer my question "Your mother called me, she want to talk about our next project together then invite me for dinner too, so why not" Well, that's good. At least this dinner won't be too awkward for me, my mother lead us to the living room, there is my father, my grandfather and grandmother. Now I know where my father have those eyes, I really want to ask about my mother's parents but I think it's too sensitive -at least for now-. My father see me then approached me "Hey, you here. Let me introduces you with your grandma, mother this is my daughter Theresa, Theresa this is my mother Melissa Olsen" after that my grandmother get up and hug me like I'll disappear again "Darling I think you hug her too tight, she is like about to pass out any second" my grandfather chuckles make me smile because indeed she hug me tightly but I didn't say anything because it's the first time she see me. "Oh my god Anthony shut up, I just meet her. Oh honey you look beautiful, you have my eyes. I was a beauty like you too when I was younger isn't that true Anthony" I think she is still beautiful, no wonder why my grandfather married her, I look to my grandfather and there is only love in his eyes, the way he look at her is the way I want my future husband see me. The maid tell us that the dinner is ready, so we move to the dinning room. The Olsen ask Emma about me and she tell them everything, even my embarrass moment which made them laugh to my misery and that cause Emma get a pinch from me which made them laugh even harder. I ask them some question and they do the same, our dinner went well, thank god it was not what I was expected -awkward and boring- It was filled with smile and laugh, I miss this. I know that I found my real parents, but Antonio and Arianne Adelson will always be my parents too. I was very thankful to them to treat me like I'm their biological daughter, I will visit them once I have free time.
"What are you thinking dear" my grandmother ask me with worried in her voice.
"Oh no, I miss this. I mean, this warm feeling when you are eating with your family in one table, talking about everything and laugh together about something silly" I feel my eyes start watering but I hold it back not wanting them to worried about me, I feel Emma hug me "I'm fine Em" I pat her arm, let her know that i was fine.
I see my father take my mother hand "Theresa you don't have to worried about that again, I know that they will always be your parents too. You will always be welcomed here" they give me a warm smile and I return it back. "Thank you"
"Oh, You can call us mom and dad Theresa, I always want to hear my daughter to call me mom"
"Call us nana and pop too Theresa" my grandmother say it a cheerful voice that make us laugh, is she sure she is 63 not 20?
We bid our goodbye to everyone, Emma and I go home with smile on our face. We know that we have a new family.
