Visiting Ito secretly has now become a routine for him and he still asks himself why he keeps on coming to visit her when he says he won't do it ever again. Worries much?

"Well you're here again"
Shinobu said in a low tone as to not wake Ito up. Muichiro fell his hair stand up and body go cold

"You're here"
Muichiro said and turned around to leave

"Here for Ito?"
She asked making him stop in his tracks

"I don't know if you heard or not but Ito thinks-"
Muichiro decided to cut her off there

"Thinks I'm the best yes I overheard"
He said and decided to look her in the eyes not knowing if he should ask her or not

"Let's talk outside then"
They sat down on the edge of the floor(?) and looked up at the beautiful full moon

"So what do you think of Ito?"
Shinobu started

"For a demon slayer she's not as calm as Tanjiro, or as fast as that lightning boy, or that boar hat slayer but she thinks of everyone before her even if it might kill herself, she thinks of the best possible way to figure it out, and she knows that if she panics she won't be able to think straight, she tries to be strong but fails at it. She's close to everyone and I don't know how, she's ridiculously obedient when I tell her to do something that I wish she would just reject, she doesn't give up unless she's really out of energy that she ends up passing out. It's ridiculous how she became a demon slayer corps member"
Muichiro said what he had thought which made Shinobu smile

"It seems like she's rub off on you too"
Muichiro was confused

"No she didn't, it's impossible. No one can get close to me"
He said with a monotonous voice as if he's used to being alone

"Or are you the one not letting anyone get close to you?"
That left Muichiro silent, she's not entirely wrong on that part and Muichiro couldn't reject it

"Are you surprised that she still stays with you because she's under your wing? Or she's the only slayer who's stayed the longest under your training?"
Shinobu said in her usual calm tone as Muichiro stayed quiet not knowing how to feel

"Tell me Muichiro, has she captured your heart?"
That question caught him off guard

"What are you saying of course not"
He denied it but the pace of his beating heart said the opposite

"Really now? Then why are you red and why are your eyes so round? Shocked?"
She asked and giggled when Muichiro got up and leave when she was sure of her speculation

"Little Muichiro is growing up now, how exciting isn't it Ito?"
Shinobu said as she looked up at the moon even tho Ito wasn't with her

Next day

Muichiro stopped visiting Ito after the conversation he had with Shinobu thinking he just let someone he doesn't even know lower his guard

"Focus"
He said nonchalantly as he tried to focus but couldn't cuz he decided to stop visiting Ito, but he rejects that reason because he simply thinks that's not it

"Muichiro-san!~ I'm back~ How are you?"
Muichiro could hear Ito even as she tried sneaking up on him, it was too obvious, he thinks but he just ignores her as usual

"I'm gonna assume that you're doing good"
She says and sits down on one of the big rocks, Muichiro stops and looks at Ito who looks back at him curious

"Why aren't you training?"
He asks but he already knows the answer to that

"Cuz I just got back from a full recovery? And Shinobu-san told me to take a few days off because of it. Even I know you're not that heartless to make me do training right after I get a full recovery"
She smiles but Muichiro looks away feeling that weird sensation again
