Act 8 (1/3): 'Glorious Evolution'

Author: The start of Act 8. Time for Sally to get some upgrades.

You woke up on a table and notice Sally is not in your shoulder.

Y/N: Sally?... Where the hell am I?

Jinx walks over with Sally on her shoulder still whining about the crack.

Jinx: We're at Viktor's place.

Y/N: Oh cool.

Jinx: Y/N, are you ok?

Y/N: Blue, why wouldn't I be ok? I mean... I had the strangest dream... Get this my arm was cut off and Viktor was some weird robot man.

You then notice, Jayce, Vi and Caitlyn behind Jinx all staring past you and following their gaze, your eyes land on Viktor and then you notice your arm is missing and bandaged.

Y/N: I don't think it was a dream.

Vi: Unfortunately not.

You look to Vi before looking to Jinx, who is slowly stroking your hair before looking back at Viktor.

Y/N: So Viktor... Are you a robot?

Viktor turns to you with a robotic arm.

Viktor: I have merely improved my self as a being with more capabilities... Y/N, are we not friends?

You nod as Viktor walks closer to you with the arm but Jayce gets in his path placing his hammer beside him.

Viktor: Jayce?

Jayce: What happened to you? How did you become... Like this?

Viktor: I discovered the truth. Our emotions weaken us, limit our capabilities... After finding out the diving suit failed, I began to doubt myself but deep down I knew the suit was not the problem.

Jayce: Maybe but they doesn't mean emotions are the problem!

Viktor: Of course it does, the diver let his emotions get the better of him... Knowing I had doubt, I knew the best course of action was to... Fix, even improving myself. I used the hexcore, it too improved and combined, I will only continue to upgrade my capabilities... You can too, all of you.

Jayce: Viktor, you can't be serious! The Hexcore is too dangerous!

Vi: Emotions don't make us weak, they give us meaning, strength and shows us that we are human.

Vi looks to Caitlyn with a loving gaze causing Jinx to pretend to like which in turn makes you laugh.

Caitlyn: She's right, Viktor. This is not the way to do things.

Viktor: In time you will understand. For now, let me give you this arm.

Y/N: Fine by me.

Caitlyn: Now hold on Viktor.

Jayce: Viktor, that arm doesn't contain any chip that will effect Y/N, right?

Viktor: Do not worry, it is merely an advanced robotic arm that will only give him the ability of every arm except it's stronger and more durable than human's normal weak and fleshy arms.

Y/N: Shame it's my arm and not my leg. I could fit in as a pirate at Bilgewater if I had a robotic leg.

Jinx: Are you planning to go to Bilgewater?

Jinx stares at you with a bit of panic. You sit up and place your only remaining hand on her cheek.

Y/N: Technically but don't worry I won't go anywhere without you... Yes and you too Sally... Unless of course it isn't willingly since you know...
