TDS Fanfic - A Glimpse of Stellar Hope

Part 5

A Solar Servant barges into the chamber. He is panting wildly, and said "Madam! We found Jaxe!". "Wait, i thought it was dead?" Umbra asks in confusion. "Well, yes, the corpse, but, we can bring it back to life!". The Umbra is amused by the Servant. "Then revive him." Afrer recieving her word, the Solar Servant left.

A few minutes pass, and Umbra left the chamber for a bit of sightseeing. For as far as she can see, there's nothing around the colosseum. No humans, no weird gadgets, nothing. Just animals roaming around with her Knights.

It is an empty night. Nothing could've broken the peace in the moment. The Umbra lays down on the hard bricks of the Colosseum for a moment. She kept thinking over and over on what to do, when she finally took control of the Earth. What will she do next? Eventually, she got lost in her thoughts and fantasies.

A few hours pass, and Umbra decided to check on Penumbra. She entered the chamber, to find Penumbra slumbering in peace. Oddly enough, there are no guards. He's trying to recover, after all. At this point, the Umbra is quite sleepy, so she didn't mind the absence of guards.

Then, her thoughts got pretty blur. She never had a partner before, and she wanted Penumbra to be her lover. But, did that thought ever cross his mind? She wasn't sure, but she wanted Penumbra to be hers. Subconsciously, Umbra got on the bed, and she wrapped her arms around Penumbra. She slowly drifted away, as the world around her starts to get dark.

As the sun rises from the east, it's light shines on the chamber. Penumbra is awoken by the light flashing on his face. The first thing he notices is that the Umbra is cuddling him. His face is flushing. Then, it hits him. He can't move. He tried struggling out of Umbra's arms, but she is too big. Ultimately, he gave up, and decided to wake Umbra up.

As Umbra woke up, she realized that she crushed Penumbra. "My my, sorry~". Penumbra doesn't mind though. He even likes it. Though, as Penumbra is about to get off of the bed, Umbra grabs his hands, and her face went flush.

Umbra : "Pen...?"
Penumbra : "Yes, Umbra?"
Umbra : "I have a confession to make...
                 is it okay with you?"
Penumbra : "It's alright, Umbra."
Umbra : "Alright..."
Penumbra : "So... what is it?"
Umbra : "I have a crush on you."
Penumbra : "wait what-"

At this point, Penumbra is in complete disbelief. He is still trying to process what just happened. Before he can comprehend anything, though, Umbra nervously asked him. "D-do you want to... date me?"

Without wasting a single moment, Penumbra says "Awww,  of course i do!". Umbra is somewhat relieved, and happy that Penumbra agreed to date him. But then, Penumbra grabbed Umbra's face, and kissed her.

After the kiss, Umbra completely froze. Now it's her turn to not be able to comprehend what just happened. But Penumbra sees that Umbra must attend to her duties anyways, so he held the lovesick Mistresses hands, and tried to drag her. Eventually, she snapped out of it, and went along with Penumbra.
