There's nothing that Spencer hates more than being woken up in the morning. Well, that's not true, he's a teenage boy with a lot of things on that list... but pretty high up there is being forced out of his sleep.

His mom never understood it. For an athlete with a pretty rigorous football schedule, it made no sense how grumpy he still got after all these years when she tried to get him up for school. Luckily for Ms. Grace, it's been a while since she's had to do that. Dillon, on the other hand, well, he's still a work in progress.

Spencer rolls around in his bed hearing the faint sound of buzzing. There's no practice this morning so if this was one of his teammates calling, he was going to lose his mind. He tried to ignore it and go back to sleep but it was too late. Just as quickly as the buzzing stopped, it started again. He mumbled under his breath and quickly turned over.

Barely looking at the phone, he swiped quickly, ready to give whoever was calling a mouthful.

"WHY...why so early? What is it?"

"Oh, Spence, I'm so sorry...I'll call back..."

Shit. He didn't even realize it could be her. Just that quickly, all the memories from the night before quickly flooded in. His girl was the one calling. His.

"Liv, no my bad. Don't hang up. I didn't even look at my phone before answering. I thought it was one of the boys and I was about to be so pissed. They never have anything to talk about this early but always want to hop on Group FaceTime."

"Yet, they say girls are the ones who talk too much." She laughs lightly and yawns. Spencer begins to yawn right after her, and Olivia makes a silly face at him - teasing him for copying her.

He is finally able to take her all in. How does she look this beautiful in the morning?

"Have you gotten out bed, yet?" he asks mid-yawn.

"Well, I got up to pee..."

"Ewwww..."

"Oh hush... but then I got back in bed before calling you... I'm sorry I woke you up. I guess I'm just used to you being up before me."

"It's okay. Don't be sorry. I'm sorry I snapped. I just wasn't expecting it. I'm still getting used to this...but this was the best wake up call." They both shift in bed a little getting a little more comfortable so they could talk for a bit longer.

"Well...Is it cheesy to say I miss you? I mean, I know we just saw each other last night and we have plans to see each other tonight, but..."

"I miss you too Liv...What are you doing today?"

"I think I am going to work a little on some podcast stuff. With all the schoolwork I've had, it's been hard to keep up with both." She looks a little defeated.

"Balancing all of our responsibilities is hard isn't it? Why did we ever say we wanted to grow up?"

"Can you believe they say it only gets worse from here?" They both giggle at the thought.

"Well, at least we'll be able to do it together...Hey, what about if I meet you for lunch? I know you said you have a lot to do, but maybe I could help take your mind off all the stress for a little bit. Besides, it's been a little while since I've kissed my girlfriend."

Olivia blushes and looks away from the camera then back at Spencer smiling. "I would really like that. See you at 12?"

"Yes...now get off my phone because I'm the one who needs to pee."

"Ewwww..."
