CHAPTER 8

To my sudden shock, as I saw Koushik sitting there, my face suddenly fell off, but un-intentionally my hand waved both of them. I immediately understood the position, and fake smiled to avoid any disturbances. 

"Hi," Shilpa said, standing from her seat as I approached her. 

I said, Hi back and sat there, right opposite Koushik. 

"Hi, Bro," Koushik said in an enthusiastic voice.

I waved another Hi back.

"You look a bit dull. What happened?" Shilpa asked.

"No. I am perfectly alright. Saw Koushik suddenly no, so was a bit in shock."

"Haha, Yeah I called you no, for this meet, then Koushik called me today morning, and asked me out. So thought this could be a good meet for three of us." She explained the reason why he was here.

"So this was the surprise you said?" I asked with a bit of curiosity on my face.

"Yeah!" She said with an obvious face.

"Cool," I said with no expression on my face,

"Why?... You didn't like it? Like you don't know about his arrival no?" she asked.

"Yeah, this was a surprise," I said with a fake laugh.

I saw Koushik looking at us both talking about him. He just stared at us both.
"Actually, I thought of inviting you also bro, but she said she already called you, so we thought this will be a nice one for you," Koushik spoke after a bit of silence.

"Yeah, Yeah. This was nice, Never thought of this." I said with a serious fake talk. Obviously, why would I think of this?

"Cool, Now what, should we order anything or just look at each other's face?" Shilpa said with a little laugh on her face.

"Yeah, you go ahead, order something. I am Ok with whatever you order." I said.

"Nice." She said and ordered us both a cold coffee and Koushik a Capuccino.

"Well...Wassup" She asked both of us.

We kept on talking for a long time. I don't even know what we were talking about, but kept with the flow just not to disturb the nice environment. 

After about an hour, I checked my watch it was almost 6 pm in the evening, and the sun got dim.

"I think I need to leave, it's already 6 pm. Mom would've been waiting for me, I haven't even told her." I said.

"Oh, Yeah I think even I need to make a move." She said looking at her watch and mobile.

We both looked at Koushik, who is looking at us with a curious face.

"You?" she asked looking at Koushik.

"Uh. Yeah. If the most beautiful girl leaves what should I do here alone." He said with a small cheeky smile on his face, looking at Shilpa.

Shilpa laughed with a bit of shyness on her face.

I don't know if it was a shy or awkward look down, but I looked with a seriously awkward look directly into Koushik's eyes.

"Acha Ok then, I'll leave. Bye," I said to break the dead silence after the laugh and stood.

"Chalo. I'll also go then." She said and stood.

"Chalo then," I said and made a way.

Koushik followed us.

We reached the main gate, and I immediately started my Bike, to leave before Koushik noticed me.
