Peacock feathers that subtly dance,
Magenta rose blooms in my hair,
Fresh fumes from the incense stick,
Sunflower bracelets that clink together,The redness of a deeply drawn forehead mark,
Dark collyrium donned over lower lids,
Sweet honey over my thirsty lips,
Jingles of the new silver anklets.Vishnu, the different forms you take,
To be by me side and make me smile!
From the seams in my silken shawl
To the obsidian curls of midnight hair. And then there's me, complaining:
You're not here! Where are you?
When my every smile is a crescent
You draw with accurate artistry .You are here yet, invisible between atoms
I hold the Infinite within my palms,
But as I close my fingers around it,
It turns into the Timeless void. The oxygen I breathe, unfelt and unseen
A Summer breeze amidst snowing winter;
Life-saving poison, liberating suffering souls
Ever-expanding cosmos, all around and unknown. You are Everything, White from all colours
Also Black, dissolving each within Oneself;
Your eyes: cosmically kaleidoscopic, driving me mad
So you avert them. Ah, my sanity matters?A delirious laugh dances on my lips,
As I draw Your chin to face mine,
My eyes impatient to get drunk in Yours
To burn in the infernal stars of those eyesMy fingers caressing the strong jaw,
Velvet over uncut diamonds,
The same chin He'd placed on my shoulder
Giving me a run for my own moneyEvery moment malleates into eternities,
As He dips His chin playfully,
Catching my fingers in His,
Melting every last cell of existence with me.Atleast His eyes now seek mine, questioning,
Thoughts evaporate, feelings explode,
He is All. Nothing beyond matters or exists.
My Universe. The Universe. Right before me.I throw my arms around Vishnu,
The beauty of that moment, inexplicable,
Words and alphabets and meanings useless,
Even the beauty of time becomes pointless. So how shall Beauty praise Your Beauty, Love?
When she herself loses individuality!
But she must, (You are responsible for that)
And shall eternally serve Your Lotus feet.
