Home for Bin is a luxury apartment near the National Assembly building. A three-bedroom unit with a spacious outdoor terrace that he can use for hanging out with friends. Although he has never used it in the months since he lived here.
After he graduated from Korea University, he moved out from his grandparents' grand house and bought an apartment for him and Yoon Ah using their inheritance. They moved out of the place they had inhabited for almost 15 years when his only sister signed contract with a major broadcasting system as their news anchor early this year.
Bin exchanges his shoes with his slippers at the door and walks inside.
"Yoon Ah-ya, are you—" he stops his words realizing he forgets again that they don't live together now. He shakes his head then moves toward the kitchen to drink some water.
He needs lots and lots of drink to cool off his body after his interaction with the one and only woman occupying his mind lately. Or possibly a shower. A very cold shower.
The minute his eyes locked with Ye Jin's in that fitting room, his body was instantly on high alert. She looked... divine. Even with shadow of fatigue under her eyes, she still looked exquisite.
"Fancy meeting you here, Hyun Bin-ssi." She recovered fast from her surprise, smiling at him.
"Have a shopping urge?" He asked as he posed in front of the mirror looking at the reflection of him in his new suit.
She chuckled, "If only. No, I have a gown fitting."
It must be for the state dinner, Bin thought. "I assume it's for tomorrow night."
She nodded and continued her walk around the boutique. "Getting yourself a new suit, I see."
"I think we both know it's for the same event. How do I look?"
Ye Jin stopped in between the aisle of dresses and looked at his reflection in the mirror. Without any words, she gestured him to turn the whole 360 degrees.
The move was in no way seductive, but coming from her with her authoritative index finger ordering him around—
He was in a big trouble. Not just because his body responded like any man would — his breath hitched, his muscles tensed, and he felt it all too well where his blood was going — but the way his mind started to think about wooing her was more concerning.
"Did you have it tailored?" She commented lightly.
"No, not really. Why?"
"Not possible. How did it fit you so well then?"
"Is that a compliment, Ye Jin-ssi?" Bin smirked from where he was to her eye roll.
"Anyway, you look— dashing. Change the tie to a darker one and add a peek of handkerchief in the pocket and I think you're good to go." She said softly already busy walking around again.
