"You look handsome."
Bin looks at his reflection in the mirror and smiles at the comment. "It's an important day. I want to look my best for the people."
"And you really look the best."
"You are my mother, Eomeoni. You have to say that." His mother smiles and Bin can't expect a better start to his presidency.
It's inauguration day. The day he will be sworn in as the new President of South Korea. The first day he'll take the step to put down his legacy. He starts it well since he is now the youngest President ever at the age of 40 years old.
He suits up in a black three-piece suit, knots his houndstooth pattern tie and adds cufflink to finish the look.
"Mouthwatering," Ye Jin said when she helped him choosing his suit over video call last Saturday.
Their eyes met through the video and the heat emanated from those look they shared almost burned them. Bin stopped his movement in front of the mirror at the Tom Ford's boutique he was in and dismissed the store attendant to talk to Ye Jin.
"Don't use provocative word like that when you're not here with me." He spoke in a low voice.
"Is that a threat, President-Elect Hyun?" She tossed back her reply, smirking sexily. Bin groaned in response as his mind came back to the day they made up.
Tugging her inside the car was a good move considering what they immediately did after getting in. It was good that he had a loyalist like Kang Jin Tae on his service. His chief security brought the car to the parking lot and left them.
Sizzling.
The perfect word to describe the moment their lips met again after two long months. Fireworks surrounded them as Bin crushed his lips against Ye Jin's, stealing every breath from her.
His arms enfolded her, his lips engulfed hers in a possessive manner. And nothing mattered, except the woman in his arms. He coaxed her mouth to open and granted his tongue an access, completely forgetting where they are.
He didn't plan to kiss her — nothing about this was planned — but then—
Soon is now.
"Bin," she gasped when he pulled back, no doubt, leaving her wanting more. For a reunion kiss, it was just a tad too short. Fusing their foreheads together, Bin relished on the fact that he could hold her again.
"Don't take back your words. There's no return policy."
Ye Jin smiled. "I won't."
"Good. Though— I'm really okay with waiting for a little more."
"Really? Because I'm not. I'm content here, sure— but I want to be happy. And what is happiness without you in it?" She said as she tenderly caressing his face, smoothing the worry lines on his forehead.
He didn't have any choice but to kiss her again; he kissed her like a man parched and she was the only one who could quench the thirst. He kissed her like she was everything, only because it was true and he wanted her to know that.
She was the constant tug in his damn chest and there was no way he could live without her.
"I miss you." He spelled it softly as he broke the kiss for air.
She didn't answer with words, her hand sneaked to his nape and brought him to kiss her again. When she finally pulled back, her lips puffy, her face shone with love for him.
"If what you feel is the same with mine— I think I have an idea how much." She said as softly.
Bin pouted at her on the screen as he brought himself back to their video call. "You really should come back with me that day."
