"Hey, look! There are the two women were looking for." Ganyu and Keqing were walking out of the Qixing's building. Only upon Keqing noticing you guys gathered did she point it out to Ganyu.
Your sister immediately froze. You closed your eyes and looked away. Suddenly footsteps got louder as you were attacked with an uncomfortable hug. "Wayfarer, I apologize I didn't check on you in your time of solace."
Your sister cried, now you were embarrassed. "I'm here on official business Ganyu-" She only tightened the hug as you saw Xiao chuckle then quickly look away when you glared.
"Alright, alright, I understand you were busy, Cloud retainer explained." Your sister looked like tears were forming in her eyes. Family makes you soft, you shook your head and hugged your sister back.
Keqing and Aether were talking as Xiao was entertaining Paimon by pulling her crown off her head with the wind. "This is gonna be a long day," You sighed.
"STUPID VENTI STOP KNOCKING OFF MY HAT!!" Paimon yelled as you turned to the Yaksha with a smirk. Xiao starred back at you with Amber eyes.
Mouthing something, yet you couldn't tell what he said. He then flashed a small smile then turned his focus back on Paimon. Somehow you felt your heart skip a beat.

"I promise I will visit you soon Wayfarer, take care of yourself." Your sister says and pats your shoulder. You wave goodbye as she leaves for downtown Liyue harbor.

"Alright, Keqing said she heard that the Qixing tried to arrest some bandits who were running around Liyue and taking items and treasures," Aether explains as he pulls a map out of thin air. Paimon bobs her head, "Wait so are they a part of the treasure hoarders orrrrr?"

"They are but they're separate faction," Aether explained, Xiao cross his arms. "So where are their headquarters?" The vigilant Yaksha asked, tilting his head like a puppy.

"Most likely located near ruins where the treasure lies, honestly that could be any way in Liyue," Aether said with a sigh, shaking his head.

You let your hands rest on your hips, "Or we could follow the wet footprints imprinted in the dirt from a couple of hours ago." You stated, Xiao's jaw dropped. "That- well-done Wayfarer." The Yaksha praised with a pout, you smiled to yourself.

You turned your gaze back to the traveler and his smile was welcoming. "Traveler, if you're still in need of sleep I can carry you to-" Xiao quickly stopped you by putting a hand up.

"It's fine, if the traveler wishes to slumber we can take him to Wangshu inn while we hunt down the thieves."

"And what about Paimon?!"

"Paimon is temporary, Aether is forever." Was your response and Paimon rolled her eyes. Aether let out a chuckle as Paimon made her thinking face. "I neeeeed an ugly nickname for you! How about... ugh I'll think of it!" The pixie huffed, you rolled your eyes.

"Traveler, I suggest you sleep, me and Xiao will go ahead." You suggested, Aether frowned, "But-"

You held up your hand, "No, go to Wangshu inn and sleep for a while. We'll be quick." You assured, Xiao silently nodded his head. "What Wayfarer said," the Yaksha agreed.

Aether reluctantly agreed, taking Paimon along with him. You and Xiao were left standing in front of the Qixing's building as the two travelers faded out of view.
