When they got to the disco the queue was so long that Matt immediately said he was leaving. "I'll get us into the VIP section, just act normal please" Nate said and looked at Matthew as he laughed "You truly need to learn how to be a little patient" he added before he went to talk with one of the security man that were in the main entrance.

He approached them with 5 wristbands and they all grinned "I'm like for real the best friend anyone can have" Nate started to praise himself, so they all felt thankful when Christie kissed him.

"Gross! Okay! Enough!" Stella suddenly said to catch the couple's attention "Not that you were bothering me, but I wanna go inside thanks" she said and as it was normal she took the lead, and showed the wristband to the same security, just liked they all did just behind her.

The music was loud, that is probably the best way to describe it, some although would say that music was amazing that night. The place was absolutely beautiful, and because they were in the vip area – that was a closed section just a little above the other one, with multiple tables and sofas with food and ladies giving away champagne and other drinks - they could see it even better.

Stella told them all she was going to the dance floor as she smiled to one of the ladies with the drinks and took one and soon Nate and Christie did the same. Matthew was talking to Joe when he received a text from an old friend who was apparently in town, and by coincidence in the same disco as them, and with that he left Matt there by himself.

As he walked around trying to find something to drink a girl bumped into him and he realized she was drunk because she wouldn't take her hands of his chest "I'm sorry" he said politely even though he had no fault. "These abs" she said and soon he recognized the voice, a voice he would rather not know.

He pushed her away and could easily see her face. Amber. He looked again, he hadn't seen her in so long, and he shouldn't truly care... and yet he still did.

That precious face, those thin pink lips he loved so much, she was wearing a black dress as it was so usual of her. He noticed she had cut her hair, almost by the shoulders, and he couldn't help to notice she still looked flawless. Despite the darkness he could still see she was wearing the helix earring he had bought her, not long after they began dating. A million memories flashed through.

She held to his chest again, she smelled him and she was so close to him that he could feel her smiling, the innocent smile he once love so much, and the smile he couldn't seem to forget. He wanted to push her again, he should do it, he knew it, but he couldn't.

"I could sense your perfume anywhere" she said as she tottered back and now he could actually see that smile he had fallen in love for.

That was the thing about her. Matthew could never see clear when she was close to her, she had that effect on him, and that was why she was dangerous. Luckily she was drunk that night, and if she was drunk it meant she was probably on her own which also meant no big problems for him, in that night at least.

She stared at him as well and for some moments nothing seemed to move, and he remembered them, as a couple, one year before.

Nate was dancing with Christie when he spotted both Joe and Stella dancing and having fun not very far away from where he and Christie were, and although the lights weren't much and the dance floor had way too many people for him to be certain, he didn't see Matt anywhere.

He smiled at Christie and she immediately recognized that smile, the one he always made when he was not in control of the situation, the one that also meant he was worried. She raised her eyebrow as to ask what was wrong and he kissed her forehead, pulling her close talking close to her ear "Matthew isn't here" he said and she looked around trying to find him, but soon she realized it wouldn't be worth much with a room filled with people, that could barely move.

After yelling a lot of "excuse me's" and "sorry's" they reached the siblings and asked  if they had seen Matthew, they pointed to the vip area so the couple smiled at them and went to the same place they had first been, and they quickly found their friend.

Matthew was sat in a small stool next to a table full of drinks, but he was not alone, and easily they recognized the girl who was sat on his lap. It was obvious that if nothing had happened between them yet it was about to, and Nate wasn't going to let it happen. He walked there but Matthew didn't even seem to pay attention so he just grabbed his arm. It was clear that he had already been drinking and Nate couldn't piss him off, or he could start a fight, something he would obviously win. "Let's go" he said close to his ear but he pulled him "Leave" he said and it was easy to read his lips, which meant he was being serious.

He walked back to Christie who was standing a few steps back way too afraid of that girl to walk near her. Next to her were already Joe and Stella, now aware of the situation. Stella carried one drink on her left hand and somehow she already had come up a plan, not that any of the others knew that though.

She started walking in their direction but Matthew didn't seem to notice her presence, she pretended she was drunk as she was getting close and started to totter. With that came the perfect excuse that would put the plan in motion, once she was close enough she 'accidentally' spilled he drink to Amber's dress.

"I'm sorry" she said quickly but pretended to be drunk, being all of her movements very clumsy. "I have to go clean the dress, I won't take long" Amber said into Matthew's ear. "You should just go home really" she said standing up and heading to the closest bathroom which was still quite far.

The rest of the friends soon approached them to find Matthew arguing with Stella, who was still pretending to be drunk. Nate had his phone on his hand and he was clearly pale, and Matt saw that "My house is on fire!" he said loud enough to catch Matthew's attention "Then what are we doing here Nate?" he almost yelled and quickly stood up completely forgetting about Amber. Joe and Nate helped to carry him outside, considering he was too drunk to do it alone, while Christie and Stella followed them outside, completely sober.
