"Y/n run!" You look over and see Rafe running at you. Rafe had a gun pointed at you.
"It's your fault!" he pulled the trigger and barely missed you.
"Rafe stop! What are you doing man?" JJ tackles Rafe. He hits him until Rafe is unable to move .
"JJ! JJ please stop." He wasn't stopping. You run up to him and kneel down. You grab his arm before he can hit rafe again. He breathes heavily. You put your hands on his face and try to get him to calm down.
"Hey, JJ look at me. Look at me" you whisper to him as he start to calm down.
"He tried to kill you Y/n."
"No, he tried to threaten me, if he wanted to kill me he would have hit me. Hitting the tree was a warning."
"Doesn't matter Y/n he pointed a gun and pulled the trigger. Doesn't matter if he missed on purpose or accident. He's lucky I didn't kill him." He stands up and looks down on Rafe.
As JJ looks down on him you couldn't help but feel pit in your stomach. "You touch here, think about her or even look at her again next time you won't be moving."
"Okay JJ that's enough, I think he gets it."
"Let's go." JJ leads you away from the beach.
***30 Minutes later***
"Lets get you cleaned up." you take JJ into the kitchen and wash off his hands. As JJ looks at you helping fix his hands he can't help but melt at the sight of you.
"I love you."
"Aw I love you too." You look up and give him a small smile.
"Im sorry for loosing it against Rafe. I don't know what would happen if he didn't miss."
"I know why you did it and I'm not mad at you. Other than the fact that I have to clean up more of your blood."
"You got lucky, Y/n." He looks at you.
"But I didn't JJ. I told you, if he wanted to hit me he would have, he didn't come after me to hurt me he came to warn me. And Rafe has something completely wrong with him, I don't know what it is, but I also can't sit there and act like what he did was okay. Im not making excuses for him either but JJ I can't just leave him, running around like that coming after me with you running after him you're going to get yourself hurt."
JJ tires to interrupt "I-I..."
"I know that me and Rafe had a past and I never want to revisit that, ever, I never want him in my life again, but if he's coming after me and your there and he goes after you instead, I couldn't live with myself, I would hate myself for letting anything happen to you."
"Okay Y/n I never want anything like that to happen. Im sorry that this si happening and I dont know what to do other then protect you..."
"And by protecting me this..." You grab his hands, "This is what will keep me safe, the more you beat up Rafe trying to protect me the more pissed he's going to get, and the more angry he will be, the more likely he will come after me and you and not care at all."
"Hey guys!" you hear Kiera walk into the chateau.
"Please trust me." you whisper to JJ.
"I trust you."
"Wow bro what happened to your hands?"
"Rafe happened."
"Damn the fuck did you do?"
"he threatened Y/n but shooting at her."
"What the fuck are you okay?"
"Im fine, but I think in going to go." You look over at Kiara and JJ.
"Want to come with me?" you eye J.
"Sure baby ill come with."
"Be save love birds, not looking for any widows around here." you and jj chuckle at Kiara's joke as you walk out of the chateau.
"I love you, I hope you know that."
"And I love you." You step on your tippy toes and kiss JJ.
"I dont think he will come back after what I did to him." He looks down on you.
"I think you gave him a pretty good idea on what is coming if he does."
"Where to?"
"Home? Definitely not the beach."
"Ill keep you away from there for a while."
