"Dad!"
"You this you have anything to say in this? You did this to us, this nut this is going to guppy's" You can see the anger in JJ's eyes. That money was for his restitution. We got it from the bar of gold that was found by John B a couple of nights ago.
"JJ, JJ don't please" You whisper to JJ as he looks over to grab the money back. JJ runs and grabs the money.
"You little shit!" JJ's dad hits him. He falls back. and gets up. JJ pushes him against a screen and into the yard.
"JJ!" I scream. He gets up and punches his dad. "JJ, JJ stop please!" I scream my lungs out. I run up and try to grab him to get him to stop.
"You gave me nothing but a shitty life!" He hits his dad one more time before you grab him. He looks back at you and Luke hits him again. Luke knocked out JJ. You went and grabbed a stick and swung at Luke. He felt to the ground. As you look down on him you are in fear.
"Leave him alone! Don't you ever touch him again." You look at JJ who is just laying there. "JJ, wake up." You begin the sob. "Please wake up. JJ!" Something starts to shake you. You look down at JJ yelling at you.
"Y/N. Y/N!!"
You begin to wake up from your nightmare to JJ shaking you awake. You're breathing heavily, and sweating. You look up at JJ and start crying. He grabs you and hugs you tightly. He starts to rub your back to try and calm you down.
"Shhhhh. It's okay, I got you, it's okay" you start to settle down. Still breathing heavily you look up at JJ. "What happened?"
"I-I had a dream about you and your dad. H-He, we had a bunch of money to pay off your restitution, and your dad just wanted to take It to guppy's and but something with it. You had gone to grab the money and then your dad hit you. You fought back but when you thought he was knocked out he got up and hit you and then he tried to come after me but I had threatened him. And when I looked over at you, you wouldn't wake up" you start to cry again, "I couldn't wake you up and then when I looked down at y-you where screaming my name, and that's when I woke up." You hugged JJ again and you didn't let him go. He grabbed onto you and held you tightly.
"Shhhh its okay. Its okay baby. It was just a dream." He kissed the top of your head and continued to comfort you. As you began to calm down again you fell back asleep. JJ stayed awake all night to make sure you where okay and wouldn't have another nightmare. You didn't move all night.

When you woke up in the morning, JJ was still laying with you. His arms tightly around you while your head was on his chest. He took a deep breath and woke up.
"Good morning baby. How are you feeling?" He said while tucking your hair behind your ear.
"I feel better. Im sorry I woke you up last night."
"No, don't ever apologize for something like that. It's okay."
"Do you want to go wake up John B? We can get an early start on the water." you ask while getting up. You look down at JJ.
"Sure baby. Are you sure you're okay?"
"I promise, it was just a nightmare. I know that you are safe here." You lean down and give him a kiss.
"I'll never let anything happen to you." He says while gently planting another kiss. You knew you where safe with JJ. He was always going to protect you and you would always protect him.
